I design and build custom artisan furniture with a curvy, organic style. I thrive by exploring my own artistic path and new directions from unique, challenging commissions. Each piece I make is a collaboration with nature and the people who give my creations purpose. My shop is located in Portland, Oregon, but my furniture can be shipped nationwide and beyond.
Buying functional art may seem daunting, but it makes sense in many ways. Buyers have a unique opportunity to choose from many interesting materials and creative designs. Trusted builders have a track record of exhibiting at juried art shows and delivering bespoke furniture. Many artisan pieces created today will become valuable family heirlooms in the future, as fine hand crafted woodwork has become rare.

Building a custom furniture business in todays world is a daunting task. Tougher yet is trying to introduce new ideas into the mix. Historically, American furniture makers have used their nearby forests to create original furniture with a local flair. They were experienced craftsmen with a knack for paring down old traditional styles into clean efficient classics.
Aside from visiting my studio, you may have seen my work in the past at: American Craft Council Shows, Lake Oswego Arts Festival (featured Artist), Bellevue Arts Museum, La Quinta Art Festival, Art in the Pearl, Salem Art Festival, Salem, OR, Best of the Northwest, Seattle, WA and Portland, OR, Oregon College of Arts and Crafts, Gathering of the Guilds Showcase, Real Mother Goose Gallery, and others.
