When we started K2 we saw an opportunity to serve the Twin Cities in a way that no one else had dared to. We set out to become the only full service bathroom specific contractor in the state. We hit a home run with that business model, but our customers wouldn't let us leave until the rest of the house was remodeled too!
As our services quickly extended to kitchen and spilled into the backyard with our custom deck division, we found that premium design services, rapid turnaround times, thorough processes and incredible people put us in high demand. Our creativity, our ability to listen, our character and our capacity to take a customer's vision and expand it beyond their original dream has remained our recipe for success.

There's nothing quite like being in a really great bathroom. Beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. Whether you're looking for a convenient guest bath, an opulent master or just a functional half-bath, K2 can create something special just for you. A well designed deck is like adding another room to your home - a space dedicated to cook outs with friends and family and embracing the lazy days of summer.
At K2, we know the kitchen is for so much more than cooking. One night you'll order pizza and the next you'll create a culinary masterpiece. You'll frequently entertain, but most nights you'll need a comfy place for a quiet conversation and a glass of wine. Our lives unfold and our memories need to last.
Maybe it's time for a larger, more luxurious master bathroom. Or maybe you're thinking that the guest bathroom would look amazing with new tile in the shower. What can a great designer do with that weird outdated half bath downstairs? Whether you have something specific in mind or just know you need "something", a K2 bathroom designer will be able to help!.
A custom deck is the best way to savor every drop of the season. A Minnesota summer. The Twins on the tube. Steaks on the grill. The neighborhood winding down. Bliss in the garden, peace in the world. From the fresh cut lawns of spring to the crisp leafy evenings of the fall, when you venture into the backyard with friends and family, it's time well spent.
Our team can go beyond a bathroom or kitchen remodel and help you in other areas of your home. Water heaters and softeners need frequent attention. Leaky faucet in the laundry room? We're on it. Time for a more powerful toilet? We can make it happen. Call us today and let's talk about how our plumbers can tighten things up around your home.

Lots of things that did not go well in my Minnetonka bathroom project. The issues were fixed but only after they were brought to the attention of the company - Contruction debris piled on the side of my house, glass shower doors not level or plumb, shower door binding. The big issue was the tile - my original selection was suddenly not available when the job was supposed to start and then the wrong tile was installed on the shower floor. The final product is acceptable but not what I selected. If you use them, you have to watch every tiny detail - especially what is written in the contract.

It has been almost a year since they started my deck project and it is still not done. They installed the deck but were suppose to replace the stone gravel they removed and have not. I have called Bill the project manager. He told me they would be out in a couple of weeks. Well that was 4 months ago. Now he will not return my calls. I then called the salesman a month ago. He told me he would call Bill. Well still nothing. They are good at taking your money but not completely the job.
Another side note, I asked them not to place the lumber on my grass ...they did anyways. It killed my grass. I

I've given them "1" star because that's the lowest you can go. If I could, I would give them ZERO stars!!!!!
Used K2 Bath's "Deck Division" to have a new deck built. Their sales rep missed his calling as a used car salesman. Tried to oversell everything. We told him we wanted an "average" deck but he tried to talk us into the Mercedes of all decks. Then he communicated that to the Project Manager so we had to clarify. The carpenters broke our concrete patio and tried to "fix it" without letting us know what happened. I was told the

Good: Site manager did generally communicate and respond well. Design process was good, BUT... Bad: Ten week estimated before work could start, actually was twelve weeks. 30 day estimated job length became 90 day actual on a very small bathroom. Work is all subcontracted and workmanship ranged from good to bad. See picture of custom cabinet installation. Did not inform me they were installing a different shower door than I ordered, then said there was nothing they could do about it.

Out of three estimates for bathroom remodel, K2Bath was the only one who was clear about the estimate and provided a breakdown of costs. There were a handful of glitches along the way, but they were always great about making things right. I've heard horror stories from others, and although the job wasn't always smooth and dirtier than maybe it should have been, overall I am very happy with the job they did, including coming back over after two months to repair a couple of minor issues that popped up. I do love the look of my new bathroom, and have had no issues with the new shower

This company sucks!! Went to the trouble of trying to schedule them to come out to give an estimate, only to have it reschedule once, then they wrote down the wrong date for the next appointment. Now they called to confirm the appointment, so when I told them it would work as scheduled. They then said they couldn't even start the project until the end of August. When I initially asked for a bid, I asked if it could be completed by July 1 and they said no problem. I would rate them a zero if that was possible.

Our experience with K2 bath was very stressful. We were always the last to know what was going on with our bathroom. I would constantly come home to find that nothing had been done or that an important decision was made without consulting us. The work was done poorly the first time and then ripped out and started over a week later. Things were measured wrong and had to be redone more than once. This was our only bathroom, and I thought that a bathroom design company would understand how important it was for us to get it fixed and get it fixed right, but I constantly felt like we were a very low

K2 was a true DREAM to work with! From our first meeting to our last, they were professional, always on time and easy to work with. They took my ideas from Pintrest and turned them into my dream bathroom. Not only did they come in right on budget (yeah to no hidden costs) but their team was fantastic to work with. They always showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves everyday and my 3 kids still talk about their friend Eli almost a year and half after the project was completed. I can't wait to use K2 again for my next home project.

Very disappointed with their work. There is a large disconnect between what they promise you during the sales meetings and what they deliver. Deadlines were repeatedly and consistently missed, they broke items on the very first day, work had to be re-done, wrong parts ordered, I could go on. I would not recommend using K2 Designs. We are a week over promised completion and the work is still not done.
