The Cody Medical Foundation has helped improve healthcare for the residents of the West Park Hospital District, which includes the towns of Cody and Meeteetse, for over 60 years. Hundreds of thousands of dollars have supported the quality development of our medical buildings.

Physicians have been recruited, loans and scholarships have helped educate health care professions, and dozens of health-oriented public service projects and organizations have been funded by the Cody Medical Foundation.Our tradition of giving continues and we invite you to join us by pledging your financial support.
Services
The creation of the Cody Medical Foundation began in the late 1930's when there was a need for a public hospital. Led by several Cody women's organizations, fund-raising began and the Cody Memorial Hospital Association was founded. When the hospital was operated at a loss, the shortfall was made up by philanthropist W.R. Coe and his family.
Gathering in one place and doing something to challenge ourselves as well as sharing an event with others, will promote understanding and acceptance of mental illness and increase mental wellness. YOUR PACE, YOUR DISTANCE. Walk/Run/Dance/Rollerblade/Bike.come out and be active!

During Registration from 9am-10am, pick up your goodie bag, stretch, collect information about the Mental Health Resources available in the Big Horn Basin, meet some happy tails from the Park County Animal Shelter, and enjoy coffee from Cody Coffee Roaster.
Ed Webster, Cody Medical Foundation Vice President, presented a check for $7500 to Special Olympic coaches, Sarah Call and Jessica Allman. The money we donate each year is used to pay the coaches salaries. They have 10 coaches that help with the local Special Olympic project.

Cody Medical Foundation's Vital Signs fundraising committee members gather recently after donating $18,000 to the Senior Rolling Meals program, which provides a full meal to homebound seniors five days a week.Donna Johnson easily personifies the famed Nike swoosh and slogan, "Just do it".
The Cody Medical Foundation's scholarship program, started in 1994, has awarded over $290,000 to college students who major in a medically related field. The program annually approves ten to fifteen $1,000 grants. Many of these students have come back to Cody to practice medicine. In addition, the Coe Memorial Scholarship gives $3,000 to an outstanding Cody High School or Meeteetse graduate.
