Dr. Fleitas received his dental degree and certificate in pediatric dentistry from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine where he received the alumni award for the highest distinction in pediatric dentistry in his graduating class. He began his professional career as an Assistant Professor of Dentistry, but realized his passion was for direct patient care.

A. Dental X-rays are used to see if there are cavities in between the teeth, and to determine how far a cavity goes into the tooth. We determine the risk factors for each patient so we can minimize the amount of radiation exposure to your child. In addition, we attempt to take the fewest number of X-rays whenever possible.
