In 1989, architect Bruce Taylor, AIA, founded Summit Design in Park City, Utah. Since, Summit Design has developed a reputation for creating unique architectural design solutions specific to the client and to the setting. Summit Design's residential architecture ranges from luxury mountainside ski-in, ski-out designs to subsidized housing and small living communities.
These designs seek to incorporate principles from the "Not-So-Big" housing movement, evident in the carefully planned functional and multi-use spaces scaled for the daily pleasures of life.

Services
Park City architect Bruce Taylor brings green building principles to life in his mountain living designs by implementing passive solar and energy efficient design principals, and ensuring their execution by suggesting local and sustainable materials for construction. Practicing architecture in Park City since 1989, Bruce consciously creates the open and positive relationships that he shares with his architectural clients.
Our goal is to offer creative problem solving through careful analysis of needs. This means identifying the program goals, setting the direction, infusing creativity, and having some fun with the process along the way. We call this method conscious design. It's a process of give and take, understanding problems, and questioning each decision.
