Since 1982, Masthof Press and Bookstore has printed and/or published thousands of books and helped authors self-publish and achieve their goal of printing books to distribute and preserve information. We are a second generation family business that has grown from a basement print shop into a bookstore and full service digital and offset printing company.
Our bookstore carries thousands of titles featuring local history, life stories, memoirs, Anabaptist, Pennsylvania Dutch, Amish, Mennonite, Brethren and more. Our main passion is preserving history for the next generation. We invite you to spend some time searching through our many titles. If you have any questions feel free to contact us we are happy to serve you!

Services
Our editor will review your manuscript for grammatical errors, spelling errors, and inconsistencies. Once editing is complete your manuscript will be given to a designer to create the text pages and cover to your specifications. Design and editing of your book can take several months depending on the sophistication of your book.
Thank you for your interest in publishing with Masthof! We are excited to review your manuscript and are always looking for new and seasoned authors. Please review which publishing avenue you would like to explore and submit your information (see the differences between "Traditional Publishing" and "Self-Publishing" below).
We invite you to travel with us to where your ancestors lived! Spend two weeks traveling on a tour that is tailored to your roots. Heritage Tours are led by J. Lemar and Lois Ann Mast of Masthof, editors and publishers of the quarterly Mennonite Family History, who have led dozens of previous trips to Europe and Israel.
Check out the MFH Articles page for a sneak peek of the articles that are featured in the Mennonite Family History magazine. Mennonite Family History is a quarterly periodical covering Mennonite, Amish, and Brethren genealogy and family history. Check out the free sample articles on our website for a taste of what can be found inside each issue.

This small family owned bookstore and printing publishing business is able to meet your needs.
Masthoff can print any quality from 1 to thousands, from business cards to books and even banners.
The staff is always friendly and helpful and because each family member has a vested interest in the company they are going to work hard to make you happy!
They also provide genealogy tours of Europe and Israel. If you would like to find out more about your family history just ask them if they would work up a family history tour. I was on their 2007 tour to Israel, even though this was the first tour

One of the few Mennonite bookstores stores in America, Masthof Press's retail store features titles on Mennonite history and genealogy. They also carry spiritual, devotional, and children's titles.
The building flanks a large barn just to the left of the entrance. The barn structure is a classic Pennsylvania bank barn, now showing signs of age and wear. The title history (photo) shows the Penns as the original land grantees.
The store is located about a mile from the Morgantown interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 76). Several restaurants and bars are nearby for lunch.

I've used Masthof for numerous brochures, business cards, posters and specialty prints, and have been very happily pleased every time! They have a friendly staff, quick turnaround, and prices are on par with some online print services. Glad to stay local AND get quality and value that even the biggest online companies can't match. Very highly recommend Masthof for printing.
