Services
At the Little Scholars Academy Child Care Center our mission is to provide a curriculum for each child that focuses on implementing principles of current child development theories. Our focus is on implementing Piaget's Cognitive Theory, which emphasizes the many stages of development that occur throughout a child's lifespan.
By the time your child approaches two years of age, he or she is ready to learn new skills and progress into our Early Preschool Child Care Program. Our curriculum combines kindergarten-readiness activities with the best early-childhood standards and practices from across the nation to develop critical-thinking skills and stimulate your child's inquisitiveness.
Children of preschool-age are gaining independence and developing rapidly. Our preschool early education programs provide a balance between nurturing preschool-age children and encouraging exploration of the world around them, while carefully guiding children toward the more structured classroom experiences ahead.
As children get older and more independent, they need new challenges. We offer enrichment programs before and after school and Summer Camps that address the changing and more varied needs of growing school-age children. After schools out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating child care environment.
The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money.
