We believe in creating space for couples to enjoy their day and make memories with those they hold dear. You shouldn't have to worry about the photography timeline or feeling rushed. We are completely flexible and work closely with your planner and wedding vendor team to provide a wonderful wedding day experience.

I had my wedding out of town and chose Mitchell Bennett Photography because of their reviews, their photos, and the positive response for them on social media. I found them from researching on The Knot!
Their #1 goal is making sure the bride gets the dream photos she wants. Katie and Mitchell kept in contact with me through Zoom, where we discussed my vision at length and went into (extreme!!) detail about how I pictured my wedding day to look and be documented. Then, they went a step further and asked for a concise Pinterest board or photo album of poses and looks that I wanted photographed.

Mitch and Katie are phenomenal! We hired them for our wedding photography and they were A-1 from first contact! Super responsive and they took the time to listen and understand our requests. Their online portfolio, in our opinion, was the best of others in our area and this was also reflected in our photos. My husband is VERY hard to impressive and he too feels that our expectations were exceeded. My fiance proposed on our trip to The Lake of the Ozarks on September 8, 2020, and he hired Katie and Mitchell to capture the moment. They did an absolutely amazing job capturing the surprise and the joy of the beautiful moment. Katie was so easy to work with and helped my fiance plan everything. She helped him plan the best place to propose, set up the roses and champagne, and even was willing to move the whole set up to a Plan B place in case of rain. Katie and Mitchell take amazing photos and were so helpful. They were the cherry on top to a perfect proposal. Thank you!

We contacted Mitchell Bennett Photography for our family reunion at the Lake of the Ozarks. Katie found a location to shoot at close to where we were staying. We had 15 people in our group and we got nice photos of everyone and our individual family photos. They were quick and efficient and got all the photos we were looking for. Katie came to us a few days later and showed us our photos and helped us narrow down what we wanted...never being pushy, only listening to what we wanted. Great experience!

My wife and I hired Mitchell Bennett Photography for our wedding in May of 2018. They captured our wedding perfectly, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Mitchell and Katie were very kind and went out of their way to meet with us before the big day to introduce themselves, discuss our preferences, and plan their session. During the wedding, they were not only friendly with everyone, but also extremely flexible with scheduling. Overall, we would strongly recommend Mitchell Bennett Photography for anyone in need of a photographer around the Lake of the Ozark area!

Mitch and his wife Katie are a great team. Both care about whoever they are photographing and don't make you feel like you are just another photography gig. They want to hear your opinions, ideas, and "wants". They are willing to go the extra mile to help you achieve the pictures you want. Mitchell and Katie are amazing. They made taking pictures at our wedding and for our engagement so stress free and seamless. Neither my husband nor I enjoy getting our pictures taken, but it was easy with this team. They had suggestions ready for poses, and took our requests and made them better. They showed up early to scout the best locations and vantage points for the ceremony and reception, and we’ve now got pictures of every detail we spent so much time and energy planning, and all the people we care about. 10/10 would hire again.
