More than 40 years ago, entrepreneur Margaret Sprague, set out to provide high quality printing to the residents and visitors of the Connecticut Shoreline. The first Two Ems product was Amie magazine, which told the stories of local residents who had overcome handicaps or situations of discrimination.
Starting in journalism in high school, Margaret couldn't give up on writing stories. Now her firm specializes in helping people tell their stories in their own hard or soft cover books. She also encourages artists and photographers to create printed versions of their art in folded or flat cards or coffee table books.
For me, painting begins with an ink drawing as a kind of armature for the watercolor washes and pungent chalk overlays that follow. I like to draw in nature, Branford Point or Stony Creek, here in Connecticut, but also in transit to other climes, particularly trains. I've always done these ink drawings subsequently painting at home.
When you really need a photocopy of a formal paper document, need to send an old-fashioned fax, or need to buy some plain writing paper, come to Two Ems Press. Also staff members can assist you with secretarial chores, or typesetting for letters or brief announcements. Two Ems photocopy machinery is up-to-date with high-end Xerox color and impression capabilities.
Current staff members who read your words have decades of experience. Combined experience includes collegiate education in the subject and/or work in advertising agencies, daily and weekly newspapers, as well as book and magazine publishing firms. We understand words for publications. Editors can revise the punctuation of your printed words for clarity.

I cannot begin to describe what an outstanding experience I had at Two Ems! My daughter ordered her invitations elsewhere and due to circumstances beyond our control, there were some last minute changes that needed to be made. I turned to Two Ems to see if they could assist with my dilemma. Despite not having printed the original invitations, they immediately put me at ease and took control of the situation. The results? Better than I could have hoped for! The level of expertise and efficiency were amazing.....not to mention the wonderful way in which we were treated. I would encourage anyone needing

Post Road Press did an amazing job at designing custom wedding invitations for our wedding! We are both veterinarians and wanted something non traditional and fun. What we ended up with was a custom designed terrier logo that suited us and all the invitations/wedding theme perfectly! They created beautiful, classic invitations and managed to incorporate our terrier logo and made them look gorgeous. They also created custom napkins, as well as gift tags for the event. My personal favorite were the custom wrapped chocolate bars. Their line of chocolates is delicious and the bars were a great addition

I just moved to New York and am having the hardest time finding a printing place at the same high quality level and convenience as Two Ems in Madison. I've worked with TE for the past 2 years printing out signs and flyers for a local business with such ease. You simply upload a pdf file to their website, wait for a call that usually happens within the hour and then pick up the print that day. I also had my resumé printed there and I was given a variety of options of thick, high quality resumé paper to choose from. My only complaint is that they are pricey, however they are simply the best

The staff is a bit behind the curve technologically...
Their fees are quite high when held against just about any standard of normality. $18 charges for first page of color printing... wow. That's a deal breaker.
Otherwise their staff is kind and as helpful as they are able to be, and the store is cute with lots of little stationary, cards, pens, stamps ect... But the bottom line is, Staples charges much less, and their service is better because their staff knows what they are doing. If you can't compete on either price or service, then you don't have a leg to stand on.
