Physical Wellness is the ability to maintain a healthy quality of life that allows us to get through our daily activities without undue fatigue or physical stress. The ability to recognize that our behaviors have a significant impact on our wellness and adopting healthful habits (routine check ups, a balanced diet, exercise, etc.) while avoiding destructive habits (tobacco, drugs, alcohol, etc.) will lead to optimal Physical Wellness.
Dr. Lawrence (Larry) Wilson has been part of our Treatment Team since our inception and currently serves as our Medical Director and CEO. Heather is an adjunct professor at Springfield College School of Professional and Continuing Studies and a Board member and trainer for the Florida School of Addiction Studies.
We are a private, intimate Treatment Center using proven, successful medically based treatment methods. We specialize in treating all types of substance abuse, including addictions to illicit drugs, alcohol, prescription medications (opiates, sedatives, stimulants), inhalants and gambling.

Seven summit is amazing! They literally saved my life. Every single therapist is amazing and the other staff also. I was very negative coming into treatment but within a week that changed. I entered into treatment at 7 Summit on June 1, 2021 angry, hesitant, reluctant and scared. I spent 2.5 months there as an inpatient for treatment. This place truly saved my life. They gave me the tools that I, as an individual, needed to get sober and enter into my life of recovery. It helps that almost everyone you encounter there are themselves also in recovery. I can't say enough good about this place. I was hesitant about entering treatment back in February however the experience was LIFE CHANGING... Seriously! I wish everyone could go through this program. The staff are all super understanding and professional, never judgmental, always willing to listen and help. The assignments are so helpful and the property and housing made me feel at home. Thanks 7 Summit for everything! After a recent relapse I knew I had to get help so I started doing research and calling facilities in the Tampa area. I have struggled with my addiction issues for about 20 years now. Our family cannot thank all of those at 7 Summit Pathways enough for being there for the long haul. My addict of 20 years found peace with herself and a new, fulfilled life at this rehab. My addict had been to many rehabs prior to 7 Summit. They were 30 day programs, or 90 day programs. If you had not been rehabilitated within the time frame then you were on your own. They offered no help or no direction. You had better have a plan to continue with your recovery because they did not!
