Having spent time messing with Quickbooks and being frustrated, I was up and running fast and easy with Cheqbook the first time I used it. It is intuitive and logical while helping automate most of the functionality. Why key in a Hawaiian Telecom transaction every month when Cheqbook downloads bank transactions and know that this is a telecom expense and assigns it as such.

Cheqbook is great. I have (3) businesses and this allows me to keep track of my various companies with ease. Since it is in the cloud, I can access my books from anywhere which has already proved to be really helpful. The best feature has to be the automatic categorization because this allows me to easily keep clean books by only sorting the transactions that need my attention. Overall I would rate it AAA+++!

I'm an independent contractor and I have such limited time and resources to do my book keeping. Cheqbook makes it so easy. Everything is downloaded from my accounts and, after it learns your purchase habits, most transactions are auto categorized. Cheqbook also makes it so much easier to keep track of all of my income and I can send my invoices for payment through Cheqbook as well. Cheqbook should be called Life Saver! I highly recommend it for any small business or an independent contractor like me.

Finally an accounting product that works for my business! I'm not an accountant, I just want an easy and inexpensive solution for my business accounting needs. Cheqbook is easy to setup and easy to use. It stays connected to my accounts and automatically categorize my transactions. Cheqbook does the work of importing and organizing my information so I can make my business decision from the built-in reports, saving me time and money, I like that ;)

Absolutely love it!!! It saves many many many hours...simple enough and not overly complex while having ALL the features a small business needs! Hard balance to achieve but the team at Cheqbook did it. Hate Quicken btw...too complex and bloated...this is perfect. I am not a pitchman for them just love it

I have been using Cheqbook for a little over a year now. 2013 was my test year and now for 2014 I'm fully operational and will be using it to my full advantage. Let me start by saying that I do not like accounting, I do not like to have to learn anything new that consumes my time and I don't really have a lot of time to spend trying to learn something new such as Quicken or Quickbooks. That has always been a challenge for me.

4th months of use. Overall, a great improvement from Quickbooks which was complete overkill for my online, digital download business. Gets easier each month as transactions become automatically categorized. Was able to add all expense categories I needed.
One issue I have is that it has some glitches when interacting with PayPal. And, given my business model, PayPal is my main "bank" account. The issue stems from the fact that PayPal doesn't provide the same "signals" that other banks do, so for example, placeholder debits that are posted when I use my PayPal-connected debit card are never cleared
