Athens Infusion & Pharmacy opened in 1989 when owner Ann recognized a need in this area for infusion services. As a former hospital pharmacy director, it was natural for her to begin a business that services the needs of patients who are discharged from the hospital on intravenous medications that require careful monitoring, equipment and supplies usually not found in most retail drug stores.

Ann and our team of specialists have implemented systems greatly contributing to the health of our clients with an estimated 50% increase in medication dosing compliance by patients. This is why so many long term care facilities have turned to our pharmacy for their patients' needs.
