Cherry House Cafe

We always go for non-chain eateries when we can so we were excited to try Cherry House Cafe. The cafe is a bit run down. They could use some extra cleaning of the tables and condiment containers. Food was average.

Eggs bacon and potato cakes were great. Pancakes definitely a 1 star. Tasted like a generic batter. If you serve breakfast, you have to have a good pancake. If pancakes were good at least a 4 star. Environment was cozy and desserts looked good.

We love Cherry House! We've eaten in and ordered takeout. Both experiences are super! Always great food, always friendly service! We'll keep going there

We had a large order for breakfast for a staff on duty. They had everything correct and fresh for pickup. Great Service and great food. Highly recommend. The entire staff loved it.

Little place with a home cooked meal feel. Enjoyed the setting (old school mom and pop restaurant). Service was fast and friendly. Enjoyed the baked goods and cookies.

Excellent service, Awesome food I describe it as home style gourmet, They never disappoint... You get more food than you can handle,(Big portions.) And cozy atmosphere.

Great food, fast service, and great prices all in one!. I usually get the reuben which is great. They have a variety of desserts including pies and cakes. They also make cookies that come with most (if not all) meals. You can get a meal, drink, and dessert for about $13 plus tax and gratuity. When I order takeout it's always ready when I get there in 10 minutes. They have daily specials that include dessert of choice.

The food, service, and atmosphere are all exceptional. Other local small businesses advertise through the glass tabletop. Probably a good first place to work for local high schoolers and they all act very professionally. The bussing service is somewhat lacking because there appeared to be crumbs on our table from the prior customer(s).

Stopped in for breakfast and left with some amazing desserts to take home. Prices were very reasonable, breakfast for 2 people was a little over $20. A slice of smores cheesecake and a huge rocky road brownie was only $5. They also have a drive thru!

Excellent food, good service, cute place. Loaded potato salad was our personal favorite. I think the house made chips could use some seasoning personally, but will definitely eat here again to try out more of the menu. Dessert options are great.

Excellent food, fantastic prices, great waitress/waiters. Honestly this is a hidden gem my girlfriend and I did not know about despite living in the area for 10+ years. I've shopped in Kroger for ages without ever knowing about this place, I saw a coupon in a magazine for it and we gave it a try a week ago; was great food then; went again today and their food is fantastic. I wholeheartedly suggest you choose establishment this for a VERY reasonable price, VERY good food and VERY good staff. 10/10.

My SO and I split a Portabello burger, I also had their homemade coleslaw and the Asiago spinach soup. I thought it was all great!

We have been here several times and always had good food and service. The only complaint is that they switched from coke to Pepsi.

Went to support my child's school in a fundraiser being held at Cherry House and after not being served for 20 minutes, went to ask a waitress to get drinks and was then told they are no longer taking orders due to how many they have already. This was well an hour before close. Very disappointing for such a well liked neighborhood place. Has drastically affected my opinion of the establishment.

Had the great experience of having the triple cheese bacon burger. It was very delicious and staff is very nice and well put together . I highly recommend this for a nice lunch outing .! Will be back forsure

We’ve been there twice and the food was excellent! I should have gotten the chicken pot pie soup! I tasted my husband’s and it was out of this world! The blue cheese dressing was homemade and delicious!

In a bind and the day before an event I needed to bring a snack tray. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to prepare one and I wanted it to be tasty and aesthetically pleasing. In the middle of graduation season, I called Cherry House Cafe at the last minute and they prepared a beautiful party tray complete with a variety of desserts and sandwiches nicely arranged and definitely tasty. Everyone loved them. I just needed some business cards to handout to the number of people who asked where did I get this tray from. Thank you Annette and staff for always doing right by me!

I was excited to go here because of the positive reviews but was quickly disappointed upon arriving. We arrived at 1050 and sat ourselves down at a table. Before obtaining our drink orders, the waitress quickly says hello and informs us they are serving lunch only because breakfast is over.

I was honestly ready to leave because I wanted breakfast and it wasn't even 1100 yet. What is the point of having an 1100 breakfast cut off if you're going to stop serving early?

Anyway, we were hungry, so we decided to stay. I initially asked about the quiche when the waitress pointed at the glass

I love this place. We went on a Friday evening around dinner and got seated right away. It was busy but not bad. We ordered a Reuben with fries and a Cherry House burger with onion rings. Both were amazing! The Burger came with cherry bourbon sauce which was perfect and not overpowering and the meat tasted fresh and grilled perfectly. The Reuben had plenty of corned beef and sauerkraut and the thousand island dressing was great. The bread was toasted and equally good. I love the batter on the onion rings and the fries have a batter on them as well which makes them different from most.

I can easily see this place as "regular" for us when we are in this part of town. We came here after a cold bike ride on the Creekside Trail (late fall) and were quickly warmed by the atmosphere and the food. I would characterize this place as having a "home style" menu with lots of comforting favorites. One of the hardest things was trying to figure out which to chose for our first visit. The other difficult part of this trip was finishing our meals! Very generous portions. Glad that we have learned that there is no shame in asking for take away containers to bring home the
