Winsor Fireform creates the world's finest porcelain enamel signage and graphics through creative design, superior craftsmanship, and total commitment to customer satisfaction. Not only is porcelain enamel beautiful, but it is also the most durable sign medium available. UV rays and extreme weather do not affect it.
The centerpiece of the Griffith Observatory's $93 million renovation, "The Big Picture" consists of 114 - 4 foot by 6 foot 8 inch porcelain enamel panels that create a 152 foot by 20 foot panorama of deep space. The 3,040 square foot image was taken at the Palomar Observatory and is the largest ever created of deep space, containing over 1.5 million stars, galaxies and space objects.
Slip-resistant tile rounds ranging in size form 15" diameter to 36" diameter which are a photographic reproduction of the artist's original work. Fireform Graphic Tile was commissioned by the City of Coronado to produce Todd Stands' artwork, "Tent City" because of our proven ability to produce accurate, vibrant colors in porcelain enamel.
Fireform Fabrication is the operating division of Winsor Fireform that designs and builds metal frames, both standard and custom, exhibit mounting systems and metal industrial artwork. Fireform Fabrication works with a variety of standard materials including steel and aluminum as well as specialty materials such as corten weathering steel and stainless steel.
