When I decided to put my house up for sale and move to an apartment, I inquired of others as to who I should choose as a realtor. The most recommendations I got were for Shelly Crane. I was told she was very good at knowing and understanding the market, pricing the house to sell, working very hard to get it done. I found all that to be true and more. I am absolutely convinced that I have the best realtor in the state!! Shelly is a straight shooter for sure and will find you the house that you are looking for. The day I came across my house, I contacted Shelly in the early afternoon about it and she got in me to see it before the end of day. Just 1 day after the house listed, it was pulled off the market and under contract for me. Shelly went to bat for me whenever I needed her to and went the extra mile (sometimes miles) to make sure that I was always happy and always informed in the process. Where do I start, 1st thing is she loves to gossip about houses she sold to other people. She referred to our African American neighbors as "colored people". Our landlords hired her to sell the house and she knew we were not leaving the residence for another month. She works on her own agenda not giving a crap about the current tenants. She would call me asking if a time was good if I told her no, she would try to set up a evening time for the same day I told her was not going to work. This was also during COVID and I was pregnant. Her lack of ethics & scruples equal those agents in huge metropolitan areas where it's dog eat dog. Certainly not in a small town setting where honesty & openness to communicate are valued
Reputation is critical for small town agents --guess she didn't get that memo:(
