The name Joseph C. Landa stands for a singular blend of elegance and sophistication. Hand built, timeless furniture that is exquisitely made and incorporated into modern spaces. The collection for 2016 is, in reality, over 100 years in the making. A combination of the finesttraditional upholstery, with influence from the Art Deco era to the American Mid-Century movement.
Refined proportions, a general lightness in appearance with more comfort than prior periods, Queen Anne style, although short, informs furniture design well past its era. Designs are characterized by curved lines, cabriole legs and cushioned seats all presented with minimal ornamentation. Improved production methods allowed stretchers to not be necessary.

Our design and drafting department enables us to work closely with designers and architects to create traditionally correct pieces that are both highly functional and exceptionally beautiful. We have supplied furniture for the highest level corporate boardrooms and dining rooms. Clients can supply as little as a rough sketch and a description of their needs and from there a concept and eventually a final design can be achieved.
