LC Tree Service is a residential and commercial tree service company based in San Diego, California. We exist to help you reach your tree goals! Our services include a full range of tree and land projects - from tree trimming, removals, hedge trimming, stump grinding, land/fire clearing, and arborist consultations.
Payments for residential jobs are due upon completion of the project. Payments for commercial and government projects are contingent upon the organization and its payment process. While most people are present during an appointment, some cannot be there due to schedule conflicts. If you can't be there for your appointment, it's no problem at all.
Depending on the location of your property, minimum job values are enforced contingent on the distance to our company's truck lot. These minimum requirements range from $150-$3,000. If your requested services do not meet the minimum, then we will gladly provide a recommendation to a tree service company that is in closer proximity to your property.

They were out doing a neighbors property, some of the workers were super nice and very respectful when the chipper was spitting pieces of wood at my brand new truck. However when I called to address the issue the misogynist condescending and threatening owner of the company confronted me. He proceeded to insist that nothing happened to my truck and that it was virtually next to impossible, even though he was not close enough to even inspect my truck. So if you hire these people be very careful of your personal belongings.

Would absolutely recommend this company. They did an awesome job on cleaning up several dead trees on our property and trimming our giant pepper trees. Showed up on time. Brought a big crew. Cleaned everything up. It was very impressive. I would definitely hire this crew again.

Quick response, able to come inspect the tree (diagnosed with aphids and scale) right away. He was very knowledgeable and did not attempt to up-sell us on services that were not needed. He also provided helpful tips to improve the general health of our tree after treatment. Our huge jacaranda tree showed signs of improvement almost immediately after the treatment, and looks amazing a month later. Highly recommend!

We used LC Tree Service about half a year ago. We had just purchased our first home, and it had some very old growth oak trees and super tall palm trees that hadn't been trimmed in a long time (if ever...?). The oaks were way overgrown and well loved by the local spider communities. Now, they look beautiful and are flourishing.
The team was on time, worked quickly, and were all very polite and professional and cleaned the whole area after their work. Our consult was super helpful, and we got some great tips for supporting the younger trees on the property as well. We will 100% be calling

LC tree service removed a large pine tree from our backyard. Worked was performed on time and done well. Everyone was courteous and they cleaned up nicely. While there was a little damage to my fence that was right next to the tree, they quickly replaced a couple of planks so that it looks as good as new. Thank you for the great work and great customer service!

We hired Juan's company to trim multiple trees on our property including a couple of large oaks. Juan's bid was significantly lower than the other bid we had obtained. The crew arrived on time, they were respectful, quiet, and professional. The project took 2 full days for a crew of three, and they fully cleaned up the property before leaving each day. Most importantly, they did a great job on the trees! I will be using LC Tree Service again

These guys did a great job and Luke went above and beyond by swinging by a few times before the trimming day to identify and control some pests that we didn't even know were an issue. Our trees look amazing and we are excited to have them back in the winter to do the pines.

After trimming my YUUUUGE palm tree in my front yard, Luke (tree and plant Specialist) and Larry (owner) both showed up to the house and helped me with an issue I was having with 3 of my crepe Myrtle trees. In short my trees were not blooming like they should this time of year......Luke quickly noticed that the trees needed consistent watering not from just a hose but more like a drip line. I followed his advice and 1 month later ALL my Myrtles are in FULL bloom - first time in 7 years!!!! They did an awesome job! Come by on a Monday to give me a quote and said they were a couple weeks out before they could get me in. Then called the next day and said they had an opening for Tuesday if I wanted it. Got there right on time and were out with in 1.5hrs. Very good quality work. I would use them again in a heart beat.

Last June, a neighbor (two houses away!) wrongfully accused my beloved Ficus tree of root encroachment and subsequent damage to his property. Although there was no visible or verifiable damage, my neighbor sued us for damages in small claims court where I was forced to defend my tree and maintenance of it. Absolutely fantastic in every way. From Ryan's knowledge and enthusiasm about trees to the efficient and seamless removal of the old, nasty ficus in my backyard. The crew who came in were all so polite and I was impressed with how quickly they got the tree taken care of as well as the cleanup afterwards.

I went thru a dozen interviews, he was the last. Thankfully I found a decent guy.
I did not plan to go thru a dozen people, however, people in this biz can be inept or not honest, leaving you wondering from one person to the next, which plan of action to take.
Do your self a favor and include LC in your fist 3 interviews and you wont have to go thru the same predicament.

We recently moved to a new home and needed some trees removed and some others trimmed. We used LC Tree Service at our previous house and so we immediately contacted them. Ryan came over, made some suggestions, provided a very competitive price and scheduled the work for within the week.
Ryan as well as all members of the crew that came to the house were professional, courteous, very knowledgeable, reliable and thorough. They not only knew what they were doing, they genuinely seemed like they enjoyed what they were doing. Six stars out of five. Highly, highly recommended.

LC Tree service has been amazing. Justin is not only professional but very quick to answer phone calls and my many questions. He was able o get to our home the same day I called and diagnosed the problem right away. He gave me a couple of options to bring my trees back to health and has been incredibly helpful along the way. I highly recommend LC tree Service.

From the very knowledgeable estimate and information which I received from Ryan to the completion of work in getting our property up to fire code, we were very pleased with the work done. So much so, that we later had them come back to take care of more trees on our property which included removal, stump grinding and trimming. They get very busy because they are very good at what they do but worth the wait!
The crew arrives on time, works very efficiently and they clean up after themselves. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again for any future tree trimming/brush clearing
