Yes, our roots go back to - believe it or not - the oldest insurance agency in the United States. Mr. William G. Stowe opened an insurance business in Clyde, New York in 1825. The original 1825 building is currently on display at the Genesee Country museum in Mumford, New York. Ely & Leene Agency has operated in Newark, New York since 1852.
Karen has worked at our Agency for over 25 years and has been our Office Manager for over 20 years, overseeing the day to day operations. Zach is 2nd generation Insurance Agent working with both Personal and Commercial Accounts in our Newark office. Dawn has worked in insurance for over 20 years and had been a Personal Lines Account Manager, and is now one of our Commercial Lines Account Managers.
