JL Towing & Recovery is the industries expert at assisting property owners, management and security companies in setting up a private property impound program. As part of this program we supply legal NO PARKING signs at no charge. We have secure storage with video surveillance throughout. All of our trucks feature video/audio surveillance for safety.
Here you can pay for illegally parked towing charges for your vehicle ahead of time, to get in and out of our shop even quicker. The $180.00 is a base price for towing and the holding of your car for a 24-hour period. Additional charges may apply if you leave your car at our location for longer than a 24-hour period of time.

What was turning out to be a bad morning and hours on the phone, the beautiful lady at the front desk made it all happen. My boyfriends car was in Winchester and we needed to get it towed back to Harrisonburg (It was 5-speed and I don’t know how to drive them). The driver was quick to answer the call in the middle of the night and tow it back to our house. You can tell the employees have dealt with a lot of situations because they were able to help me figure out the best option and price for what I needed! I can’t thank the worker enough for what he did for us that night but I figured I’d leave a great review for the company to show my appreciation!

Total ripoff and in cahoots with Harrisonburg Retreat, most likely profits highly from towing young students cars that are actually residents of the apartment complex. This $175 tow charge occurred 4 days after move in, parking sticker was not provided to my son on move in day. These are young people, many living on their own for the first time and you all take advantage of them the first week they move in. I will never recommend either business. Beware of these people.

This is an unethical company that preys on struggling college students. They obviously don't wait for business, they stalk the area for the unsuspecting and create their business. They offer zero forgiveness and charge astronomical rates. I fully believe there is a money-making scheme with this company and the apartment complexes of Hburg, with zero regard to the driver or vehicle. Watch your back when parking! (Clearly the person that left a 5-star rating calling other reviewers "retards" works for this company or has a friend that works there.)

If you're looking for automotive professionals that will always maintain your best interest above their profit, then look no further. I've returned three times for repairs on my truck, and time and time again I am extremely well taken care of and leaving with a better vehicle. Their service department is the best I've seen in the 4 states I've lived in. They truly embody what it means to take care of customers first. Never have I felt so welcome and appreciated in an automotive center than in J L Towing & Automotive.

I have used JL Automotive many times for my car care needs and have always received the highest standard service I could ask for. I'm not a car buff so having the issues explained to me has always been a big plus. Service has always been completed in a timely fashion, letting me get back to my regular schedule without too much inconvenience. Cost has never been any issue with them. I'm often surprised that they get the job done without it costing me an arm and leg. The biggest plus about them is the friendly demeanor of the employees and the atmosphere there.
