Athens Ki-Aikido is a traditional dojo (training hall for traditional cultural, spiritual, or martial arts) offering practice and instruction in the Mind/Body Oneness Awareness training of Ki Development (Shinshin Toitsu Do) and the modern Japanese Defensive Skills system of Ki-Aikido (Shinshin Toitsu Aikido).
Ki Development is a unique system related to traditional Awareness Arts and trainings such as Yoga, Qigong, etc. Ki-Aikido is an evolution of traditional Japanese Martial Arts. The ACEnet complex, building A: we are right next to the Columbus Road spur of the Bike Path. Dojo is open when classes are meeting.

Includes all Ki-Aikido and Ki Development classes. For students investigating Ki-Aikido, or engaged in on-going training but have no interest in Rank or promotion or Membership in the National and International organizations. Includes Ki Development classes & Weekend Ki Breathing. For students interested in the Mind/Body Oneness training only, without Ki-Aikido Martial Arts.
The Chief Instructor for Athens Ki-Aikido is Koichi Kashiwaya sensei of Seattle Washington. Kashiwaya sensei was an Uchi Deshi (direct personal student) of Shoshu Koichi Tohei sensei in Japan. Kashiwaya sensei was the last person to hold the position of Ki Society Chief Instructor for the United States, and is now recognized as the Advisor for Shinshin Toitsu Aikido Kai for the U.S. and Canada.
