Complete Eye Care West was founded in 1984. Our doctors have provided high-quality eye care - Medical, Surgical, and Optical - on the west side of Columbus, continuously since that time. Our primary focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of medical eye disease, but we provide all levels of eye care from routine exams to complex surgical procedures using the latest technology.

A native of Columbus, Dr. Hutchison is a graduate of Anderson University and the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served his internship and residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, and additional sub-specialty training as a fellow in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
Originally from Greenfield, in southwestern Ohio, Dr. Elizabeth Cockerill is a graduate of Ohio University and The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Upon graduation, she completed an ocular disease residency at The Eye Center of Toledo. She provides primary eye care to patients of all ages, with a special interest in contact lenses and low vision rehabilitation.
To reduce our billing costs, we require payment at the time of service. You may pay by cash, check or credit card. We also accept Care Credit, an instantly verifiable credit line for medical related expenses. Our receptionist can assist you in estimating your bill when you call for an appointment. To help you with your insurance paperwork, we will provide you with a properly itemized and coded bill at the time of service.

Had my first appt with Dr. Cockerill today. Everyone, every single person at Complete Eyecare West, was super friendly, smiling, laughing - it seems like a great place to work! Dr. Cockerill was excellent; explaining everything she was doing and what the results meant. Ordered new glasses and was pleasantly surprised at the cost. I have found my new eye care center.
