CAST Centers was founded in 2006 with the goal of improving, expanding and enhancing people's life experiences. Today, we are recognized as the go-to clinic for mental health, addiction, dual diagnosis, and anyone who wants to live more authentically, successfully and joyfully. People come to CAST Centers for a variety of reasons, but a lack of passion or inspiration in life is most common.
Mental health struggles can feel exhausting and all-encompassing. Mental health challenges can make you feel isolated and alone - as though you are the only person who could ever understand what you're experiencing. While it is common to experience stress in everyday life, it can become overwhelming when emotional feelings inhibit your ability to function normally.
When you're faced with an event and you're not sure about the outcome, it's natural to feel worried! Giving a speech and driving at night in bad weather are common examples of situations that make people nervous. Once you start to feel more confident about the situation, the worry goes away. Anxiety is different.
Bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness, affects more than 5.7 million adults in the United States. What distinguishes bipolar disorder is the shifts in mood that occur. You might experience high periods with lots of energy (manic episodes). These will be followed by extremely low, hopeless periods (depressive episodes).

I was in need of some additional treatment for my anxiety and depression
Besides just being seen by a psychiatrist and being prescribed meds.
I did some research and came across cast centers. They were very close to where I live which was a good selling point for me.
They also seemed to have a very good reputation as well as informative website.
When I got in touch with admissions, they explained the different options to me. They were extremely attentive and certainly followed up until I agreed to sign up and pay the money.
My budget only allotted for one month of treatment minus any group therapy

CAST centers is a program unlike one I've ever seen. I struggled with substance abuse and mental health issues personally from the time I was 18 until I was 23. I finally reached a point where I knew I had to get professional help when I was 21 and in the 15 months that followed I bounced around from program to program, entering a total of 9 treatment centers in that short time. I fought the process out of fear of how hard I knew it was going to be and denial of just how daunting and massive my sickness had become... I was a professional rehab jumper. In February of 2014 I moved to LA from
