Born in New Jersey, but I've lived in Northeast Ohio as long as I can remember! My love for photography began in high school, more than 20 years ago! My photography teacher at Hudson High School, Jim Roetzel, taught me how to see differently - how to use light as my "paint" - and how to use post-processing (albeit on film and in a dark room back in those days) to improve the end results.
Ever since, I've been hooked - and in 2017 started expanding to shooting more than just vacations and my kids, but taking on clients to start a Family & High School Seniors photography business that is now a passion - across the Hudson, Twinsburg, Solon, Aurora, Chagrin Falls areas and beyond!

I think a great portrait is much more than just an image of the subject's outward appearance. It tells a story. It provides a tiny glimpse into one's personality, life, and character at a fleeting moment in time. My job as a photographer is to understand what story a client wants to tell - and through creative use of camera skill, lighting, surroundings, posing, and post-processing, be that storyteller for the client through my images.
What an incredible milestone. You've spent the last 18 years developing your unique identity, personality, and sense of style - let's collaborate on how to best capture it on camera! Great portraits capture more than just an outward appearance, they communicate who YOU are - inside and out. My senior sessions are designed to craft custom styled unique images that are quintessentially "you."
While there's no "right" time to get senior photos taken, many incoming seniors start thinking about doing their senior pictures session during the spring of their Junior year. This allows for a flexibility when it comes to getting outdoor photos during the summer months and provides a nice buffer to get edited photos back before any yearbook deadlines.
You made it - senior year. All your hard work is culminating in some seriously major life events - applying for college, prom, and graduation. Your senior picture session documents this major moment in your life and it's important that the photos reflect your unique sense of style. Luckily, living in Northeast Ohio, you're always within just a few miles of the perfect backdrop.
Prefer not to brave the elements? This is the session for you. Simple, elegant holiday decor will bring the joy of season to your shots without overshadowing you. Weather Policy: In the event of rain in the forecast the day of the outdoor sessions, I'll make every attempt to reschedule you to an available time slot with better weather.

We chose Justin Foster for our 30th wedding anniversary pictures. He spent a lot of time during the photo shoot, responding to our opinions and offering a variety of poses. He helped us in choosing the best shots for the proofing set. He then did a great job editing the 10 shots of our choice. The end product shows his fine attention to detail and artistic skills. His package offers impeccable quality and great value. We are thrilled that a photographer with such commitment and skills lives so close to us. We certainly will go back to him next summer for pictures of our extended family.

Justin was absolutely the most engaged and creative photographer!. My daughters senior pics were amazing!!! She loved the shoot and felt so comfortable because of Justin’s prep and suggestions. I have received so many compliments from other parents about the color, quality and creativity of the photos.

My daughter and I worked with Justin Foster Photography for her senior pictures. We both wanted something different then your normal senior pictures. Justin Foster did an AMAZING job on my daughters photos. I received so many compliment's. I printed off many of the pictures making a canvas and the quality on a 16x 20 canvas was very clear. We both would HIGHLY recommended working with Justin Foster.

Justin was incredibly professional to work with from start to finish, including set-up, location selection, offering guidance on attire, throughout the shoot, and was timely with proofs and final edits. He was able to photograph our family, including a toddler and dog, shifting gears quickly to accommodate all of us! Ultimately, the edits and high-quality caliber of the photos is what we appreciated most, though it was a fun experience as well!
