Fernando has been a physical therapist for the last 16 years. He has experience working in all types of physical therapy settings from acute, to rehab, to home health, to outpatient with children and adults. He holds certifications in lymphedema and vestibular rehab. Fernando has recently received a bachelor's degree in Health Science and a Masters degree In Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

I’ve been receiving PT at Effect Therapy for about a month. Over the course of my adult life, I’ve received PT session several times from various agencies and Effective Physical Therapy, Inc. has been the best of them all. The therapy sessions has been innovative and effective. The therapists are knowledgeable, professional, and personable. The staff is also cordial, professional and engaging. It's hard to condense all the good things I can say about Fernando. He has been helping my husband recover from a stroke for the last several years. He is compassionate, motivating, funny and kind. And I should add, very knowledgeable and professional, with a very caring support staff. Without him I have no doubt my husband would not have the strength he still retains today. Fernando and his personal staff are amazing! My body was literally falling apart after a bad accident. He diagnosed different issues and made a plan for each one. My core became strong again and the pain went away after the various sessions. Thank you for bringing my quality of life back and even better than before my accident. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to others. This is the second place I've ever been to, to do physical therapy and I enjoyed my time here. Fernando (Physical Therapist) and Alejandra (Receptionist/Assistant) have been so helpful and friendly. They are highly qualified to work with their patients. This is the BEST physical therapist I have ever experienced. He truly listens to your concerns and needs. They make sure that each visit is effective and progress is made. When I first started therapy with Fernando, I immediately felt comfortable with him because of his open and caring personality. I think this is so important when finding a physical therapist because it allows you to feel completely open with them and promotes you to get better much faster. My pain level before I started physical therapy with Fernando was at a 9. After seeing him for only a month my pain level has gone down to a 3. From the moment i walked into Effective Physical Therapy I felt safe and calm. The staff was so polite and the ambiance was clean, calming, and soothing.
