Dr. Adam Pollock and his team strive for a warm and welcoming environment. Our goal is to provide children with a positive experience at the dentist to create a foundation of dental health that will last a lifetime. From checkups to fillings, Dr. Pollock provides everything kids need to have healthy teeth and gums.
One of our core beliefs is that a child who has a positive experience at the dentist is much more likely to continue routine visits throughout their teen years and into adulthood. That experience is best delivered by a pediatric dentist.

Services
We love caring for your children's dental health and are 100% committed to creating positive experiences for them, because kids that are comfortable at the dentist are much more likely to continue routine visits as they get older. Dental exams are an important part of maintaining your child's health and a cornerstone of our practice.
Dr. Pollock recommends seeing children early, typically by age two, unless there is a concern. We also strongly suggest creating a regular dental exam and cleaning schedule to keep your children's teeth healthy and cavity-free as they grow. Baby teeth are just like grown-up teeth and are vulnerable to tartar and plaque and can develop cavities and even become infected.
X-rays are an important part of your child's dental exam and a crucial diagnostic tool that can detect much more than a cavity. X-rays can expose fractures in a tooth below the gum line, diagnose bone disease, check progress on past dental work, and plan needed future dental treatments. Because their mouths change rapidly as they grow, children require dental X-rays more often than adults.
Cavities are like snowflakes: no two are exactly alike, and how we deal with your child's cavity depends on many things, including your child's age, the cavity's location, and how much longer we think the tooth is going to stay in the mouth. Cavities are permanently damaged areas in your child's teeth that develop into tiny openings or holes.
If your child has dental issues that are causing pain and/or discomfort, they may need to be sedated during treatment. Some dental procedures require that your child be completely still, which, as you know, can be a challenge. Perhaps your child has anxiety or sensory issues to different noises. There may also be a lot of work to be done which would stretch beyond his or her level of patience.

I would recommend Dr. Pollock to anyone with children! His entire staff is amazing and so great with kiddos! My 2 year old son had a dental emergency and they got us in that day and took care of the issue immediately. My son asks to go back to the dentist all the time, which speaks volumes. We drive a significant distance to get there and I would drive even further if we had to! :) 5 stars, 100%!

I was referred to Dr. Pollock from my family dentist to have my sons cavities filled. So right off the bat I feel it speaks volumes that one dentist recommends another.
During COVID I have had a mix of how different business have handled precautions concerning the pandemic. My appointment for my son was 3/16/2021, and I was beyond impressed with the extra mile they went to keep everyone safe and comfortable. It was very fluid and efficient. The entire facility was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Even with the extra precautions I did not have to wait and was seen on time.
