Jodie is a graduate of The New York Institute of Massage and is licensed to practice massage in New York State. In addition to her schooling, she has received further training in Myofacial Release, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage and hot stone therapy. As a very compassionate person, Jodie has the desire to provide each client with the best massage possible, so that they may have better health and live their lives to the fullest.
Swedish massage refers to the type of strokes normally used in a massage; all Swedish massages use the same strokes. The therapy used is determined by the particular problems each client has, such as TMJ, tendonitis, sacroiliac, etc. Jodie uses a lot of Myofacial Release and Trigger Point Therapy among other forms of therapy, depending on the need of the client.
Q: I've never had a massage before. What should I wear during it? A: You will be discreetly draped throughout your massage with only the body part being massaged exposed. Massage works best on bear skin so most people prefer to wear only their underwear. However, some people are more comfortable wearing shorts or boxers and some wear a tee-shirt also.

I have been going to Jodie for over 10 years. I have alot of pain from head to toes and Jodie has helped me tremendously and has given me much relief of my pains.
