Brian's has the best food and menu in Bethel hands down. Fresh food, friendly & attentive staff & extremely clean. Our average visit costs around $100 plus tip (2 people, appetizer, dinner & drinks) but it's well worth it.
If they have a special, get it. It's always amazing. otherwise choose the blackened haddock & citrus risotto.... OMG - YUM!
If you're looking for a delicious meal that doesn't consist of fried food, burgers or pizza, Brian's should definitely be on your list to visit.
Be prepared to make a reservation!

The food here is absolutely AMAZING!! I got the Filet and my husband got the pan seared scallops. Each bite was so flavorful and you can tell that everything was made fresh. Our bartender Allie was great and so attentive. Everything about this restaurant will make me go there again. I am still thinking about how wonderful my meal was. You can't find restaurants like this anymore and I highly recommend you try it out.

My wife and I dined here recently. We were graciously seated not realizing reservations were required. The service was good. The food was presented with flare and tasty except the seasoning used with my blackened Haddock overpowered the mild flavor of this delicious fish. The noise level was pretty high. My wife enjoyed eggplant parmesan which had pasta sufficient for home leftovers. Should we return for this unique Bethel dining experience we will sample different meal selections.

We are on vacation in Bethel, while here in town the adults in the group opted for a "date night " we made a great choice in restaurants! The service and food was great! We had the Spinach and artichoke dip and Duck wontons to start. The dip was creamy and cheesy, served with big slices of bread very good, the Duck wontons where great shredded duck in a wonton cup topped with grilled pineapple, just a little sweet to the savory Duck. For dinner we ordered Grilled Salmon (2 orders) , the Seafood Sampler, and Veal Schnitzel. All of the dinners tasted great. And cooked perfectly. For dessert

Highly recommend! The employees were very attentive, friendly and welcoming. We had the duck wontons, they were life changing. One of the best things we have ever eaten. For our entree we had the filet mingon and risotto....i don't even know how to describe it other than perfect. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time, from the overall ambiance to the staff and the food. Top shelf.

SO GOOD! Literally every aspect was great, the food, the service, the decor and feel of the place, just great! The chef definitely puts their own spin on classics. The calamari was made a little different than the normal way the appetizer is served, but so good and worth getting! The filet and schnitzel were great and full of flavor, and the desserts were the perfect end to dinner. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive to their tables, and the decor was welcoming and comfortable.
So good! We’ll be back the next time we’re in town.

This restaurant was a delightful experience, where the focus is on great food, great presentation and a pleasant understated atmosphere. We were all very pleased with our seafood, salmon and haddock both of which were fresh, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented.
Often resort area food is mediocre but this is the exception! Very pleased.

Make sure you go here!
We dined here twice during a visit to Bethel. We are not ready to dine inside so we were pleased to be seated both evenings on their outside deck. It is clear this restaurant is following Covid guidelines and equally important the food is sensational, probably the best in town. Be sure to eat here if you are in the area.

Surprisingly awesome! Decent wine selection. Salmon was fantastic, filet I heard was great, and the seafood fresh and well prepared. Appetizers (tuna, calamari, and beet salad were) superb. Quaint, old house atmosphere. At this point Brian's is the only game in town for this level of dining. Make reservations early as seating is limited and they have to put a 2 hour limit on tables to satisfy demand. I encourage everyone to support this fine restaursnt any way that you can.

Had to stop at a restaurant bearing my own name! Excellent food and service on a cold and stormy evening. Thai calamari was a great start, with a nice spice and just enough food to get the appetite in gear. The seafood medley was nicely prepared and again right sized. Finished with a lava cake that was outstanding. Definitely worth a visit!

WISH I would have found this restaurant earlier!!!
By FAR my FAVORITE restaurant In Bethel.
They do not take reservations so come early or you will be out of luck.... SERIOUSLY out of luck. We were staying at an Inn down the street so we went in, gave our name (1 hour wait) went back to our Inn, relaxed, had a glass of wine, then went back. Well worth the wait!
I had the house salad; not your traditional house salad but with yummy fruit, nuts and more. For my entree I had the chicken saltimbocca, this is my go too dish and it did not disappoint, BEST I've ever had. Creamy delicious sauce

Came to Maine from Jersey on a summer vacation and heard great things about Brian's. Decided to try it for our last night and was very happy with our experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had the duck wontons and Thai calamari for appetizers and they were both delicious, the duck wontons are a must have! I had the Hanger steak which was cooked and seasoned very well. We had a lava cake for dessert with vanilla ice cream which was also very good. Overall I would give Brian's a two thumbs up and would definitely recommend for dinner.

Spent a week at Sunday River and went to many places to eat (Sunday River Pub, Meeting House, Roosters, Funky Red barn, Jolly Drayman) but my favorite by far was Brian's. The food was fantastic. I tried the French onion soup and the vegetarian dish and it was delicious (and I am not a vegetarian). The service was great.

We had a party of 11 and they were able to fit us in no problem with a phone call that afternoon.
I think everyone ordered something different and everyone enjoyed.
I had the flank steak. Really good. Not great but really good.
Family members had everything from the fried fish to bologonese to pasta dishes.
I did hear their Maine Mule was terrific flavor from my sister in law

New favorite restaurant in Bethel, Maine. We started with scallops, seafood chowder and salad. For entrees we enjoyed the salmon and chicken saltimbocca. Everything was extraordinary. The decor is inviting and the service friendly and professional. Brian's is a delightful place for dinner on a cold winter night.

Well I tried Brian's out. The renovations are very nice and the decor is fresh and welcoming.
The wait staff were adequate, some better than others but it's unfair for me to compare them to the crew I knew at the previous restaurant at this locale
The Thai calamari appetizer was very good with super tender calamari.
However the veal saltinboca was a disappointment. It wasn't that the veal itself wasn't good. It was. But unfortunately it was overly caked with a glob of cheese. It ruined the dish. The rest was fair to good but well below to what I'm used to for

We met friends for an early dinner. The place was packed at 5:45. We were seated in a rather drab room with a high noise level but the rest of the vibe and surroundings were really appealing and pleasant. I loved the open kitchen. The bar looks like a fun place to eat. We had a fantastic server. She was quick and efficient and most professional. She guided us well. The cocktail menu was inspiring. There was an attempt at some mixology. My boyfriend liked his cocktail but it was in a tall glass where he would have more enjoyed a short glass (bourbon drink). For his meal, our served helped him choose
