The brand's founders, Gaspare Asaro and his son Vittorio Asaro, conceptualize each piece to move and transform within a space, often incorporating juxtaposing geometric and organic forms. They start the design process with a hand-drawn sketch and then begin to experiment with prototypes in their workshop to realize the possibilities.
During his 20-year tenure as a diplomat he was responsible for overseeing the promotion of Italian fashion and design worldwide. Vittorio joined in 2015 with a background in trade show design and project management. In 2017 the father and son duo founded form A after their first set of pieces were enthusiastically received by the design community.

Bespoke ceiling lighting handmade in Italy ranging from sleek geometric designs to organic forms. The Oculus ceiling light features an innovative articulating design that allows the ten arms to have a wide range of motion for endless configurations. The brass constructed frame can be flush mounted or installed on a stem and can be fitted with either our carved glass made in Milan or our blown glass made in Murano.
The Riccio floor lamp, inspired by nature's variations, features a branching brass frame with four glass shades made in the rostrato technique. The asymmetrical base with its straight lines creates a harmonious contrast. Shown in polished brass. The Rombo wall light is designed around a thick starphire glass which has been hand carved in the shape of rhombus.
From occasional to dining pieces, form A tables are hand crafted and customized to seamlessly fit your space. The Riflesso table is designed around a tinted and mirrored double lens glass top which gives the piece a unique sense of depth. Can be upgraded with two decorative mirrored glass dishes; One that can be mounted on a removable lateral bracket and the other free floating.
All our patinas are applied on brass and available in a polished or matte finish. Due to their artisanal nature, minor variations and imperfections may occur contributing to the uniqueness of each piece. Polished brass and satin brass may be left unlacquered to promote a natural aging. Client supplied finishes can be matched on request.
