Children's Academy Fishhawk is committed to providing a strong social, emotional and academic foundation in a warm and nurturing environment. Many children throughout the world are exposed to a second language from birth. This trend is also increasing in the United States. Learning a second language challenges children, resulting in a better cognitive flexibility and creative thinking skills.
Children's Academy was founded in 1981 in Brandon, Florida. Our goal was threefold when we began: Prepare young children for the next step of his or her education; Uphold good moral fiber by example and guidance; and encourage the unique creativity in every child.
With a thirty-six year history and a bold new vision for the future, our focus at the FishHawk school is to prepare our children to become bilingual, biliterate, and multicultural learners with strong critical thinking skills.

As the founder of Children's Academy Language Immersion School, I am passionate about providing children with the foundation necessary to learn and think in multiple languages. Though not born of a Spanish heritage, I have always desired to give my children the opportunity to become bilingual or multilingual speakers.
Each teacher is held to a high academic standard, a native language speaker, and is fully equipped to ensure that each child has a strong educational foundation to meet and exceed upcoming educational requirements. We feel that each class is a building block towards a strong academic foundation and your child's future.

I can't say enough good things about this place. They put my mind as ease daily. I want to give an extreme shout out to Mrs.Liz & Mrs.Norma my daughter runs to them with open arms. What a GEM! With all the choices available, we selected this Spanish immersion program for our son, who started last summer, is completing the VPK program and just because we are sad to say goodbye, will spend one more summer with the crew! The owner Mr. Baldwin is just as involved with the children as are his excellent staff. Thank you Children's Academy for making our son's school experience delightful.

Teachers and Administrators are very understanding to my child's needs. They really care about my child. All staff members are always happy to answer any questions I may have. As a first time parent they help me continue the learning at home whether it be cognitive or basic life skills such as manners. I have noticed a drastic change in my child's development for the better in her first year at Children's Academy. My mind is completely at ease through the day while I am working that my child is getting the socialization, nutrients, and care she needs while in a fun and SAFE learning environment

This school is amazing. Everyone here loves the kids and is invested in them. The classrooms are set up beautifully with lots of different stations. They focus on positive behavior and have outside resources working with the teacher and faculty to meet goals for the way they encourage kids to behave by praising positive actions. They support the children beyond just ABCs and 123s to help them feel confident in themselves and know how to interact with others. They have fun programs through out the year and great field trips. We are so blessed to have found Children’s Academy.

Amazing preschool!!!! Staff is always friendly and willing to go above and beyond!!! The teachers LOVE what they do and it shows!! I love that the kids do crafts on a daily basis, my little guy is learning Spanish and it’s as though he doesn’t even realize it just comes natural!!! I wouldn’t choose any other school for my little one.... I can’t say enough great things about Children’s Academy Fishhawk!!! Mrs Anna, Mrs. Vashti, Mrs. Marisol and of course Mr. B who welcomed my little guy from the moment he walked through the front door (with his Batman mask on that day Lol) 🙌🏻 🙌

Both my kids love coming here everyday. I trust Children's Academy Fishhawk with the care of my 7 and 2 year old. I enjoy picking up my children at a beautiful school filled with caring teachers and staff. I also take advantage of the Spanish Immersion services at the school- it is the only daycare in the area that offers this option.

We made the best decision putting our daughter in Children's Academy of Fishhawk. The teachers and staff are great and always smiling. We were so nervous about finding the right daycare for our little one but as soon as we had our tour and meet some of the teachers we KNEW this was the place for her and us. Thank you to all the staff and a BIG thank you to Ms.Vicky for being so great with our baby girl Davina.

Our family is extremely pleased with our daughter's experience at Children's Academy Fishhawk. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and diverse. The director, Mr. Baldwin, is personable, accessible, extremely responsive and makes an earnest attempt to know the CAFH staff, families and children. Our daughter's teacher is wonderful. Mrs. Maria is pleasant, energetic and well-trained in child development. Mrs. Maria sees what we see in her, which is priceless. We receive information about our daughter's instructional program and are able to reinforce the same skills at home. Our daughter benefits

This is out of character for me, since I don't usually voice my opinion on matters, but I have been totally blown away with the programs and performance of the Children's Academy of Fishhawk to the point that I feel the need to step out of my comfort zone and say something. As a first-time mother, our son is practically my whole world. I have had my horror story finding suitable care for our boy while we both go to work trying to provide a nice home and descent life for our son, so that I have found such an awesome, caring, attentive and educational facility for our pride and joy makes me happier
