Unique Moments Photography is an award-winning wedding photography company based in Rathdrum, Idaho. We have captured over 600 weddings and we are at the top of our game for the wedding industry. Starting summer of 2020. Our Clients love the results and our non stress style we bring to every wedding.

We photograph weddings in Rathdrum, Sandpoint, Coeur D Alene areas of Idaho and the Spokane Washington Communities.
Unique Moments Photography provides a Free Engagement Session with every wedding we photograph. The reason is simple. We want to get our clients in front of the camera and familiarize themselves' with the photo capture process before the wedding day arrives.
We want to teach them some of the poses we will be using for the wedding and we want to experiment with lighting and body positioning so we can get the best results possible for their wedding.

Unique Moments Photography's policy is to return all usable images to our clients that are captured from their wedding day. All the images are cropped, color corrected, sharpened and contrast enhanced to look their best. They are ready to print at a lab of your choice. Additional editing is always done- We want the unnecessary clutter removed from the images.
Will I have a contract, signed by both parties, that says what services are provided and what products are in my package- Know exactly what you are getting before you hand over money and Know what products will cost if they are not included in your package. Never under any circumstances hire a wedding photographer without a written contract that is signed by both parties.

We had the pleasure of working with Mike with Unique Moments for our wedding last month in July. I cannot rave about them enough! Mike was professional, so on top of it, incredibly helpful, had an eye for detail, and took AMAZING shots.
He met us at the venue prior to day of, in order to have an idea of where photos would be best taken, as well as what the lighting would look like at each time frame. We laid out a plan as to when each portion of photos would be best taken, who needed to be where when, etc, and he was so incredibly helpful in "herding cats" day of (as we all know things change

Mike did an amazing job capturing our wedding!! Being a photographer myself I'm rather picky with photos but I was truly happy with the results! Mike pours his whole heart into his work and it shows. He tells a story with his work and doesn't miss a detail!

Today was such an amazing experience at Unique moments !! I went in not knowing what to expect, from the moment my sister and I walked in, we felt welcomed. On top of that I was able to bring my dog and have him in the shoot with me. The photographer did a fantastic, making feel not only sexy while pregnant but I felt beautiful too!! I had a boudoir shoot with Mike at Unique Moments and it was amazing! I wasn't able to get anyone to come with me to the session so Mike was able to have his wife Karen sit in, which made me feel so comfortable. They were both awesome, I had never done anything like this before and did not know what to expect. It was great! I got to the studio and got my hair and makeup done, which was so fun to be pampered! Then mike went over what to expect from the shoot and showed me some pictures of other boudoir shoots so I could visualize what it was going to be like and what the typical poses were. Then

Okay Ladies. . .we all like to feel sexy and beautiful but how many of us really do, especially as we age? In pictures? In lingerie? I'm 50 and wanted to do a special secret something for my hubs. Unique moments knocked my Boudoir out of the park! My pictures were even more than I can imagine and the perfect gift for my soon to be husband. I am 8 Months pregnant and was looking at photographers to do my intimate maternity photo shoot. I stumbled across mikes work at Unique Moments Photography and fell in love with his work. When I spoke with him on the phone to get more info I was more than happy with his ideas and personality. We used UM Photography because the photographers were family friends of my husbands. I didn't really know what to expect, but I was blown away! Mike and Karen are excellent photographers with an eye for posing. They did posed and candid shots that look fantastic! Turn around time was very reasonable!
My parents, who spent a lot more for photography for my brothers wedding years ago, were ecstatic about the quality and professionalism of both Karen and Mike.

We met with a few different photographers once we started to plan our wedding. When we met with Mike and Karen both my husband and I felt Unique Moments would be the perfect fit for us. We had them do out engagement shoot as well and they did an amazing job with accommodating our wants and needs. We did find out a few month after booking that they would be relocating to WA. They let us know that Mike would be still be photographing their 2014 weddings in MN, so we were put at ease knowing that.
