It really depends on the type of tree. Water Oaks are the worst because they soak up all of the moisture and can break the house slab. Small trees are okay no matter how close. Buyer beware! This company is notoriously predatory and takes old ladies for thousands of dollars after storms. I would not under any circumstances hire these people. It is s scam and they should be investigated by the Attorney General for predatory practices.

I understand things happen, but just want to share our experience with tree guardian so that others won't fall into the same situation as us. After giving us a run around for a week, our sales person Lisa promised us a quote to beat the competitor that we were going to go with. After signing a contract and placing a deposit, tree guardian came to our home to start the job and said that they would not be able to uphold the contract for the price. We were told that they would contact another company for equipment and get us an updated quote for the services. After two weeks of no word, we were

Update: they never came back to fix our septic line. They keep saying "we will come tomorrow!" Or, "we will come next week". Then, they never show up. It was months ago. In addition to the broken septic, they also used our power washer, racked up our water bill, and now our power washer won't start. Very sad that this is the final result of an otherwise great job.

I was extremely please with Jake and the Tree Guardian crew. They were on time, professional and left my yard in excellent shape when they finished. I had concerns about the tree or at least some of the larger branches hitting a new shed but they nailed the landing perfectly. Fair price and I didn't have to wait 8 weeks (a competitor) to remove the tree. I would definitely use them in the future!
