Officially Twig & Olive was born in 2015, linking together Courtney, Doug, and Bobbi, all who were successful family and wedding photographers in Madison, Wisconsin. Don't let our youthful looks fool you; we all have over a decade of photography and design experience under our belts!

Our style is light and ethereal, moody and complicated, and endlessly evolving. We are continually seeking to create and educate. Whether it's making newborn or family photographs, photographing weddings or teaching photography, forward motion, art and light catalyze us. We are photographers, of course, but we are also educators, so we are always looking for ways to guide the process to perfect the experience of being photographed.
The workshops we offer are the love children of many years of getting it wrong and getting it right in our own businesses. We'll help you avoid pitfalls and become more profitable!. The key was mastering how to "unpose." We let go of old habits, dialed in our gear in ways we had not before, and BOOM.

I have worked with twig and olive a lot over the years. They have done professional shots for my business, engagement photos, our wedding, and most recently family photos. I am always blown away by the photos and how great they are. Doug, Courtney, and bobbi are great at putting you at ease and getting the best photos.

We've used Twig & Olive for two family sessions and absolutely LOVE working with them! We've had Doug both times and are continually impressed with how well he engages the kids, generates real emotion and captures our personalities so perfectly. Not only does T&O produce quality work, but they have top notch customer service and were super flexible when we needed to reschedule multiple times. We look forward to working with them for many years to come!

Highly recommended photographers. They're fun, professional and have a ton of experience. You're always in good hands when working with them. Doug shot our wedding and the GROOMSMEN said their favorite part was the photos! What?! If that doesn't tell you just how great they are, I'm not sure what else you need to hear.
