Masella Law Firm, P.A., was founded in Columbia, South Carolina by Robert M.P. Masella in 1998. In 2000, the firm moved into its current home on Calhoun Street in Columbia's historic Arsenal Hill neighborhood, directly across the street from the Matthew Perry Federal Courthouse. The firm has another office on Oakland Avenue in Rock Hill adjacent to Winthrop University.

MacKenzie Wise is from North Augusta, South Carolina. She is a 2017 graduate of the Paralegal program at Midlands Technical College. Following graduation, she worked at another Lexington based firm in primarily civil litigation. MacKenzie joined Masella Law Firm as a paralegal in 2018 and primarily assists with civil litigation, divorce, custody, visitation, and support actions.

The Masella Law firm are very courteous and professional!! Every time I called or emailed Mackenize would call, email, and follow-up right away. From day one Mr. Masella was straight forward with me about my situation. He stated that he would do his best for my ex husband not to receive half of my military pension and Dr. Masella fought until the end. Even with me being in the military station out of state, but my ex spouse was still residing in Columbia. I didn't want him to receive half of my retirement pension because the marriage(of 20 years) was over due to the fact that he was cheating. I

The divorce process can be intimidating and exhausting. Fortunately, Mr. Masella takes the time to work through all the details with a fine-toothed comb, all the while making sure things makes since to the client. Staff is prompt with their responses and very personable. The overall process was made less stressful because of all Masella and his staff going the extra mile!

I want to thank Mr Masella for all the help during my divorce process. He is very knowledgeable, professional and always responded to my emails when I had questions no matter what time of the day it was even late at night. My divorce was done in about 6 weeks from the day we began the process. My situation I beleive a bit easier since I was able to make a divorce agreement with my wife and was uncontested.
