Services
Our goal at Riverview Preschool is to provide a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where children can grow and learn while having fun. We provide opportunities to enhance the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills of your child, for future experiences. At the Riverview Preschool, we know that children grow and learn at their own pace.
Our teachers are our most valuable resource in supporting young children in their developmental learning environment. They are dedicated professionals committed to providing quality care, education, and love in the nurturing of your child. They all have common goals and beliefs about the education of children and support the philosophy of the school.
Our curriculum at the Riverview Preschool is taught in accordance with the Massachusetts Board of Education to the Early Childhood Program Standards. We are dedicated to teaching, based on the children's needs and abilities that are age-appropriate through activities and experiences in a nurturing, responsive, and a consistent environment.
Our Parent/Teacher Communication is very important in your child's happiness and successful adjustment to our program. We have an 'Open Door policy. The parents are welcome to visit the school at any time and to consider participating in any of our activities throughout the school year. A written progress/observation report of the child's participation in the school is completed 3 times during the school year in parent/teacher meetings.
We encourage constant involvement with families and care givers through fun events, field trips and take home activities. Parents with a special skill are welcomed to share that skill with the class. We have an open door policy at the school and welcome visitors anytime throughout the day.
