If your dentist has recommended the periodontal cleaning, then you may be at risk for periodontal disease or you may already have periodontal disease. Sometimes periodontal cleaning is referred to as dental scaling or are planing. This is because periodontal cleaning typically involves scaling the teeth to reduce and get rid of plaque buildup.
Orthodontics help people who have one or more issues with the alignment of their teeth. With the help of certain techniques and appliances, orthodontics can restore proper alignment of teeth and improve overall dental health. If you have poor alignment, this issue is about more than the way your teeth look.
Crowns and bridges are dental appliances that replace or restore damaged or missing teeth. There are several similarities and differences between crowns and bridges. Both use materials that look and feel like natural teeth, for example, and both are permanently cemented to your teeth to provide permanent solutions.

Several months ago I had a tooth beyond repair and incredible sensitivity on that side of my mouth. Dr. Amanda scheduled me in first thing the next morning and took care of it when i couldn't get an appointment elsewhere. I have needed extensive repairs to my teeth and she has been consistently gentle and thoughtful in her work. She pays attention to my comfort level throughout the process and is the dentist i would recommend for anyone with sensitive teeth.
