Third party freight is used for backhauls and in between Feed the Children loads. This freight helps to cover costs associated with doing business. Feed the Children exists to end childhood hunger. It's the cause upon which we were founded 35 years ago and the one that we continue to fight for each and every day. We know it takes the power of many to end childhood hunger for good. We connect donors, experts, partners, leaders and communities to attack the problem from all angles.
SAFETY is at the forefront of everything we do at FTC Transportation, Inc. Our focus is keeping every member of the FTCT team safe as well as all those our team encounters throughout each day. Whether on the roadways, on an off-site location, or in our maintenance facility/office, the FTCT team works diligently to prevent personal injuries, accidents, incidents, citations, and negative roadside inspections.
Each year, we recognize Safety Professionals who have achieved a total of one million safe driving miles during their employment with FTCT. This is no small feat. One million miles with zero preventable accidents/incidents is the equivalent of traveling round trip across the U.S. over 186 times. FTCT recognized the first Million-Mile Safe Driver in 2009.
