Bob Poole has been building homes since 1978 because it is his passion, and as Bob will tell you, "when your passion is working with wood it is amazing what can happen." His love of the craft came from his early experience working with Maine shipwrights, individuals to whom quality was instinctive and ingrained through many generations.

Their innovative solutions for making things watertight, and of sufficient quality that maintenance would be minimal, with pure beauty as the caveat, inspired him to apply those same standards to everything that he builds today.
