Indigo has always done an awesome job on my daughter's locs. Her styles looked good and lasted a long time (some even after she shampooed). When I finally used her, I was pleased, too. Then the salon relocated:-( She went from being 12 to 15 to 35 to 50 minutes away, depending on traffic. In attempt to have someone closer, I went to another stylist. I wasn't happy. My hair did not look, smell, nor feel like it did when Indigo styled it. I had been contemplating locs and wanted to get started. I was not happy with the look nor feel. I have seen some children and folks hair that Needed a Pure Miracle and She was the Miracle Whip lol I Kid you Not! But if you are Looking for a Loc Doctor She's the Specialist you NEED! Ms.Indigo has always been welcoming and professional regardless of whom I bring to her salon. She started up my love after a horrible experience I had with another salon in hampton and made me and my friends feel welcome and got my hair looking better than it has in my entire life. Mrs. Indigo is an amazing person. Had a wonderful time. The store is very clean and very welcoming. As a white person, I've wanted dreads for years and was turned away from many places. Mrs. Indigo took the time and talked to me about many options and care advice for my hair and also offered the best price I've seen anywhere in Virginia. I'm definitely going back for maintenance and I'm definitely recommending her to anyone looking for hair care.
