At that time however, Benjamin Davidson, a diamond broker and Arthur Licht, a jeweler's son, were only beginning the journey of the full service jeweler. Soon after World War II, many Oakland residents began moving to surrounding areas such as the newly developed East Bay suburbs. The second generation of Davidson & Licht followed suit by expanding into Walnut Creek.

First time visiting the store. From the guard at the door and the staff, they all greeted me and were cordial. A professional relaxed vibe. Staff was responsive to anyone entering. Welcoming them and offering any assistance if needed. Kevin assisted me and did it with professionalism. He explained everything that was to happen before actually initiating it. Leaving me standing there with the confidence that this is a well run establishment. I'm sure the clientele they sell to are financially well established. From the moment the doorman opened the door for us we were greeted with smiles. Water and treats were offered immediately. Our sales consultant, Kevin, was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The entire team was superb. We were even offered champagne.
