Dr. Lim is originally from San Francisco, CA where he attended the University of California San Francisco to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
Prior to UCSF, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Neurophysiology and Behavior from the University of California Davis. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Dallas. Dr. Lim is committed to a family-friendly atmosphere, administering caring and compassionate dentistry, which sets him apart from other dentists.

Professional cleanings can remove plaque and tartar that a toothbrush can not make any headway on, and can examine your mouth for any trouble spots. Usually, a dental hygienist does the actual cleaning, while a dentist may perform the exam or any work you are having done at the same time.
There are a number of ways to deal with missing teeth. A bridge replacement involves using the two teeth on either side of the gap to anchor a tooth replacement. Dentures replace multiple missing teeth with a temporary structure that you take in and out. A dental implant actually closely replicates the structure of a natural tooth, with an implant for a root and a crown on top to act as a tooth.

I’ve never liked going to the dentist before but Dr. Lim and his staff are hands down the best dental place out there! Everyone is so kind and friendly. From the super awesome receptionist, Naomi to the kind and caring dental assistant Nicole, this place really makes your fear or anxiety of going to the dentist disappear. Dr. Lim and staff are the BEST! It takes much patience for a patient like myself who has dental anxiety😬, but they use every method to reassure me and keep me calm, which says a lot! Hats off to Front desk assistant, Noemi who has the most contagious Bubbly personality ever, she does not mind going over and above whatever the patient needs.

I appreciate the Doctor taking the time to reach out and explaining certain things in more detail after he initially read the first review. However, it's been over a week and I still can't chew on the side that he did the 1 single filling. There is still sensitivity on the side where I got the filling and there is some pain when I chew.
Before getting the filling, I had no issues with my tooth and there was no pain or sensitivity. There were also no signs of a cavity on the outside of my tooth. The tooth looked normal. I was told it was inside the tooth.
