In 2002 Hope and I asked each other this question, Where can we as Christian Counselors refer someone if we knew they were in significant trouble and traditional one hour counseling was not enough? The choices were very limited, very costly, often only for groups, or only for Pastors, or completely secular in nature.
At the Ranch of Hope Counseling Center we believe in the importance of trust and being comfortable with your counselor. For that reason, we offer you the opportunity to have a 10 minute phone conversation with the counselor you would work with prior to committing to our intensives. You will be able to speak with your Counselor within 24 hours of talking with our Client Coordinator.
Our incredible 86% success rate is measured through a self-reporting system. Using a 1-10 scale, most of our clients report a life satisfaction score of three (3) before arrival at the Ranch of Hope. At the end of our time together, they rate life satisfaction at seven (7). One year later, their satisfaction with life is usually an eight (8), which indicates that the skills learned continue to contribute to healing and quality of life.
We have found that a staggering amount of those coming to The Ranch of Hope Counseling Center for crisis care are in leadership. Our Leadership Care Package has been created to answer a new question. Our desire is to help those on the front lines of leadership create and establish boundaries that promote health and balance for you and your family.
A Client / Counselor "fit "very is important. The Ranch of Hope encourages you to call and speak directly with your Counselor, not just "somebody who works there". Feel free to "interview" the staff. You will be able to ask any question that you have. If you have a Counselor or a Pastor or even a Best Friend that would like to call us, please have them do that.

Literally the most traumatizing experience of my life, I was forced to come here after struggling with mental health problems for an extended period of time. I have holes in my memory from this 5 day experience as it was filled with memories I would rather not relive. Do not come here it will make you worse, I went into a deeper hole than I was in before, and I'm still struggling to get over some of the things I was told during my time seeing the counselor. Ranch of Hope will forever be a scarring memory, please take this into consideration before sending your children here.

Total agreement with the other reviews. This was a life changer for my wife and I. Hope was our counselor and through the power of the Holy Spirit and Hope's experience and God given wisdom we saw the onion of Life being peeled and then healed in miraculous ways. The Truth of Gods word is living and active and when applied it changes hearts, heals souls, and lets the blind see. We will forever be changed and generations will be the better for it. Ranch of Hope is a place where you will find not only yourself but the presence of the peace of Christ. They take intentional time to work with each individual on where they are and how through individual and marital understanding you can each grow and change.
