We decided to involve our youngest son since he has complex medical needs and socially does not have very many friends.
From the time you walk into the building the staff and instructors are consummate professionals listening to your concerns and making sure your child and your family feels like part of the MIKA family! The instructors make these extremely reasonable classes fun for all ages and allow these students to learn not only karate but emphasize character, discipline, confidence, independence, and core values.

I have both my kiddos in Mika karate program for about a year now. All the senseis are great with kids. I love that my kids learn respect, discipline, self esteem and honesty at Mika. Owners are amazing and always have great communication. We love going to Mika!

My son is 6 and he has been enrolled here for over a year and a half. He absolutely love it and in fact asks to stay longer each day! The classes are age appropriate and very well taught by the sensei’s and helpers! Life skills are reinforced/taught! I look forward to Monday and Wednesday nights classes to watch his karate growth week to week! He applies what he has learned to his life everyday! Amazing program and would absolutely recommend to everyone!!

I love this place, the staff is great, and my son really enjoys coming here. I had my son in after school care at his school and everyday when I would pick him up he either had an attitude or would talk back to me. At Mika, that totally changed and he's much better with his behavior. I love how they teach him respect, they help him with his homework, and they know how to balance fun and discipline at the same time.

Well, this review is based solely on false advertising. I have not patronized this establishment nor do I plan on doing so. I'm visiting from NYC and wanted to do something nice for my niece and nephews. I saw a humongous sign advertising their 6-week special for $69/student. I was so happy when the kids' faces lit up in excitement at the thought of becoming martial arts students.
I called the number on their banner and asked what I need to bring with me to sign the kids up for this class but I was informed that the banner is outdated and they're currently awaiting a new one since

My daughter started with MIKA a little over a year ago. My child came from a place of insecurities, fear, and low self-confidence. My daughter had been bullied at school and felt like she no longer was in control of her daily outcomes. She is small in stature but has a big heart. There was a chain of events that led me to looking to put my daughter in karate. We tried talking to the school, changing her classroom and even had to go to a counselor for therapy. None of this helped. She felt that she had no safe place. Then we found MIKA. Through MIKA, my daughter has regained her self-confidence
