Awarding a large prison or statewide prison system's health contract, whether for the first time or through the rebid process, requires a breadth and depth of knowledge that only a company like Corizon Health can provide. We know you have questions. And we want you to be confident in our answers, our expertise, and our experience.
We recognize that a collaborative effort between the medical and behavioral healthcare providers is a key component of our delivery system and enhances the outcomes of our patients. Because of the high rates of mental illness and the previously unmet medical needs of the inmate population prior to incarceration, it is paramount to embrace a delivery system of this type.
