If you are looking for a more formal, perfectly posed photography experience- I am not your person. My sessions work best when they are relaxed and playful. I am not worried about continually brushing the hair out of your children's faces or re-tucking shirts. Not only do these stress children out, but it also cuts down on the ability to capture genuine moments.
Pregnancy is unique and emotional journey worth capturing. We all have a different motherhood journey that is by far the most transformational point in our lives. My job as your maternity photographer is to plan and capture an intimate session that helps you look your best, even when you aren't feeling it.
Lifestyle newborn sessions are relaxed peek into your family's life at home as you cuddle up with your new baby; they focus more on your family as a whole and the connection within your family, along with some images of the baby alone. When you book a newborn session with me, you won't see elaborate props or setups.
I am obsessed with human connection and emotive storytelling. My sessions are unposed & natural. No perfectly posed, smiling at the camera families the whole session here. Parenthood creates unique bonds and emotions. I want you to be able to FEEL the love as you walk through memory lane. It was a pleasure working with Melissa! She is so responsive, friendly, and professional. I was so hesitant to have a Maternity photoshoot done, but she made the experience so worth it! I was joined in by my family and pup and she made us all feel comfortable. I appreciate her in detail emails too, you literally don’t have to worry about a thing because she has you covered every step of the way even after the photoshoot! I will definitely be using her again in the future and highly recommend her for all the reasons I listed above. Her work is beautiful and I am truly glad I went with her.

Melissa is such an amazing person and photographer. I booked her for both my maternity and lifestyle newborn. She absolutely SLAYED each shoot! She made me feel beautiful during my maternity shoot when I quite honestly felt like a walking hot air balloon. She was also so patient with my newborn and her moods during our lifestyle shoot. Melissa goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and have fun taking pictures! She is great at leading you into natural poses if you aren’t a natural model. She also has such great style and a wonderful client wardrobe to chose from! She is so sweet and friendly and the magic she works in her photos is out of this world! Melissa was an amazing photographer! She was very professional, super friendly, very go with the flow, and sweet! She makes you feel confident and beautiful. I did a maternity shoot with her and she even took a couple of family pictures too! She was interested in us, as people and not just another time slot. Her style of editing, I love!!
