I received massage therapy after an injury to my neck and back. After getting pain relief from massage, my goal was to help others ease their pain. I enrolled in the Massage Therapy Program at Berkshire Community College. I have been practicing as a Licensed Massage therapist since 2007.
Throughout the years, I have taken continuing education classes and learned many different massage modalities, but my specialty is to sensitively work within your pain threshold to treat your body's specific needs.I like to work in a calm, stress-free environment. Services
A full body massage involving long flowing strokes, using light to medium pressure to loosen muscles, and to promote relaxation. A more focused massage that addresses the individual's specific needs. The purpose is to release chronic muscle tension or "knots, " by accessing the deeper layers of the muscles.
Cheryl is excellent everyone; helped get the "knots" out from talking on the phone and working at a computer all day; very professional and a GREAT massage therapist. Cheryl is such a wonderful, gifted massage therapist. She tunes in to each client's needs and pays special attention to spots in the body that need extra attention.

I have tried many massage therapist in the Berkshires and have been disappointed. Cheryl on the other hand, is excellent.
Many of the previous massage therapists had actually hurt me, but Cheryl has a deep knowledge about using massage for healing.
Although I see a chiropractor for my back issues, often Cheryl is the one who gets me out of pain.
What could be better? A relaxing massage that is also therapeutic.
I am so happy that I was able to find her.

Cheryl is a very experienced professional massage therapist. She takes the time to consult on your issues and customizes her approach to the greatest effect. She is friendly and compassionate making for a very pleasant experience for the client. The facility is comfortable and very clean. Great value when compared to the local “spas”.

Cheryl is the consummate professional. Excellent communication surrounding the appointment and once there she is entirely focused on creating an experience that is both relaxing and restorative. She uses varying degrees of pressure based on your needs and wants which is a trait I have found lacking with some massages. For example, there are times when my neck and shoulders need to be unknotted and she uses deep tissue to assist in relief. Other times I want to zone out and she creates an atmosphere of complete Zen. Five stars aren’t enough.

Cheryl Clairmont has been my massage therapist for over 4 years to date, and is one of the best in Berkshire County. Her understanding of the musculature of the body allows her to locate the source of my pain and alleviate it, quickly and thoroughly, whether due to stress, migraine, or too much yard work. Cheryl is friendly, on time, and very responsive to communication. Her massages are an excellent value for the treatment she provides, and money well spent. As a side note, her location is clean and well lit with ample parking, and easy to find.
