I'm Deanna, first and foremost a wife to my high school bestie, momma to four little people and a girl who just happens to do a pretty good job with a camera. If you're the kind of family who is all about adventuring together, working hard for what you want, give of your time to others and can make each other, then you are my kind of people.
If you're a bride who has the best dad, a mom who loves your fiance and have found the one whom your soul loves, then you are my favorite kinds of bride. I can't wait to meet you, your families and create art that is timeless, classically edited and will still hold value for you 50 years from now.

I had a poor experience with Deanna. Our engagement session went below ok. On the day of our engagement she seemed less proactive which caused to miss major moments. Very less guidance on how to pose. When I choose her I read the reviews here in Yelp and I wanted someone to capture all the candids from the event and her services were not cheap ($350/hr)...and it was very clear why - So many of pics were ruined bc she didn't make sure everyone was looking at the camera (Note* this is from the directed shoot with my fiancé) when I asked her why the part of the picture is blurred? She responded

We went to the Deanna Rose Pumpkin Patch with my toddler. It was really cute, we got to take a horse-drawn hay ride from the farmstead to the pumpkin patch.
The pumpkin patch had lots of different kinds of activities for all age ranges. Mini golf, corn-hole, checkers, slides, mazes, hay-pits to jump in, hoops to shoot basketballs in, bowling for kids (you set the bowling ball on a slide and it rolls down and knocks over the pins).
My favorite part was that they had a separate area for toddlers. Sometimes it can be overwhelming for younger kids to play with the 'big kids' and they took that into

I take the kiddos to this at least twice every fall. It's just the cutest little farm. It's perfect for ages 1 up to teens. Has mining, pony rides, feeding chickens and baby goats, tractor rides etc. Fee is only $3 each. But does NOT include listed activities which are $3-9 each. It's in the middle of Overland Park, a very nice area. Close to dining and hotels. Definitely try this place !! 💜

Cheap entry fee for a nice outdoor experience for the kids. Favorites: feeding the baby goats with bottles and feeding the grown goats. Plenty of shade to stay cool and small water spray area. Playgrounds and activities for all ages. Wish all the "characters" in old town building were more interactive. Although bank "employee" gave us a lot of good history and explained to kids how banks used to work.

Took my girlfriend for her birthday because she loves animals especially the babies. This park was very clean and well maintained very family friendly and extremely affordable. Only $3 admission per person. You can buy bottles of milk to feed the baby goats for $1ea. and a cane fishing pole with a small bucket of worms were $3 ea. If you have small children and would like them to have big fun on a little budget this would definitely be the place.

A really great place for young kids, it is both educational and fun for them. The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. We spent over 3 hours and the kids loved every moment.
They have lots of exhibits and activities that come with the regular admission, but we found that the full pass was worth the extra cost. That pass gave the kids access to feeding goats, fishing, mining and a wagon ride.

This is a great place to take your kids for a fun morning! It was extremely hot, even at 10 am. There is a fair amount of shade and there are some picnic benches in a covered seating area by the entrance. They provided mini bottles of water which was nice but you still want to be prepared for sun. The bathrooms are air conditioned! As far as animals go, there are a couple of petting zoo areas plus the bird section as well as cows and horses throughout in pens zoo style. Well worth the low price.
There are several playgrounds and several places to get snacks or lunch.

Deanna has been our family photographer for years, she's shot everything from my senior photos to more recently my engagement session. And a few just for fun shoots in between! She's creative and fun, and coaches you enough for you to feel comfortable, yet not overly posed. Our engagement session in Monterey on the beach was so fun, we laughed the entire time, and got some of my favorite photos of my now husband and I. If your considering hiring Deanna, do it, now!

Deanna worked tirelessly with our extremely difficult newborn to get some really great photos of him in time for Christmas. Mind you she was six months pregnant in our overly hot house. She remained calm, was pleasant, extremely patient and professional the entire time.
I loved the many props she brought and I didn't have to leave my home which was fabulous for being a first time mom. I love her style and has a great eye for the perfect shot. You won't be disappointed!
