Our eye examination consists of a comprehensive eye evaluation of the internal structures of the eye. We check eye pressure for glaucoma and evaluate for cataracts and macular degeneration to name a few. We also will perform a refraction and finalize a glasses prescription. The cost of this is $90 without insurance.
We want to welcome new patients to Douglas Family Eyecare! We aim to make your first visit as comfortable as possible for you and your family. There are forms under the FORMS tab that can be printed and filled out prior to your first visit. Please bring all forms and vision and medical cards to your appointment.
Below are the forms most commonly used when you visit Douglas Family Eyecare. It is by no means a requirement that you bring these to your appointment completed but it will save you time at our office by filling it out at home. If you have any questions on the form, you can skip that part until you come in for your appointment, or give us a call.

Seriously, Dr Douglas is the best Doctor by far of any type of doctor I have ever been to. The staff is excellent. Doc uses cutting edge technology. But the love he has for his patients is what has brought me back for over 10 years. Along with my dad, mom, sister, and neighbor. God has truly blessed this man and his wife and they are the hands and feet of the lord and doing wonderful works. I will never go anywhere else.

The staff is rude and snippy for no reason at all, especially over the phone. They try to pretend to be a little nicer in person but they're really not. They do not follow through on basic things such as calling to let you know your glasses are ready. I was going to get a second pair made here from my other insurance plan but the nasty person answering the phone this morning changed my mind. I'll never spend another dime here. I'm not sure who the Douglas Family is but they should really be embarrassed to employ such rude people. They seem almost angry to be bothered when you call.

Best eye Dr. hands down!!! The best staff with very thorough exams! I feel like I’m family when I’m there. My son moved across the country 9 years ago & Dr Douglass still asks about him when I’m there for my yearly exam. Everything is explained in a way I can easily understand. Great Christian Dr that will do right by you!

This is the greatest Family Eyecare service around. Dr. is very knowledgeable and takes his time to make sure he doesn’t miss anything. The only real hardship is that insurances don’t let you have a yearly lens change if needed, nor do they pay enough for expenses if doctor wants us to have certain things done within the glasses.
I would recommend this doctor for anyone.
