The legacy of instruction in McCall has been continued by Master Angela Staup, 5th Dan. She reopened the dojang in 2010 after graduating with a degree in Economics from Boise State University. Master Staup continues to compete nationally and internationally, winning several awards including Best Overall Senior Female Competitor two years in a row at the UC Open at UC Berkeley.
She is an international referee and regularly participates in seminars and workshops with USA Taekwondo, Pan-American Taekwondo Union (PATU), and the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). The McCall Teakwondo Club is an extension program of the UC Martial Arts Program (UCMAP) based out of UC Berkeley. That program was established by Grandmaster Dr. Ken Min in 1969.

What is a belt? A piece or fabric or rope that holds our pants up? A strip that makes our waistlines more defined? In Taekwondo a belt is a representation to the world and a reminder to ourselves what we have accomplished and learned. Our uniforms, which are white, represent our eternal commitment to being open to learning, open to new experiences, and to maintaining a pure spirit and integrity.

My Son really enjoys the online classes. There has been NO loss in quality of instruction or content with the online platform. Master Staup is excellent at brining a personal connection to the virtual setting. And it actually works super well for our family. My son is (surprisingly to me) very comfortable with the virtual setting and I appreciate the time savings and convenience!

I love the fact there is an online option for classes. I've attend both online and in person sessions and was impressed by both. But I prefer to practice from the comfort of my living room. Master Staup does well at creating classes for her student base. She can hold class for beginners and an advanced students simultaneously and still keep everyone involved and active.

McCall Taekwondo Club welcomes anyone regardless of ability or age. ( young children to seniors) The Club offers many classes which are focused, disciplined, encouraging, and fun. Master Angela Staup is an outstanding instructor and coach. She strives to bring out the best in her students.
I participate in the Ladies Classes and Focus Classes. They have helped me tremendously not only with my overall fitness, but more importantly with my balance, flexibility, and strength following my knee replacement and my battle with cancer. I find these classes to be quite enjoyable, healing, and empowering

McCall Taekwondo club has shown me many options for my future, I know now that i want to go to college and continue martial arts and learn more about it. I have been going to Taekwondo for about a year now and the experience and the knowledge from it has opened my eyes. Miss. Staup the instructor is an amazing woman with so much compassion and patience. Taekwondo builds confidence and helps you center yourself. It is something that i highly recommend someone trying out even at least once. From my experiences i can say that its an amazing opportunity to be able to go into class and learn something

Taekwondo promotes these Five Tenets: Courtesy; Integrity; Perseverance; Self-Control; & Indomitable Spirit! At McCall Taekwondo, these tenets are taught and constantly and consistently reinforced by the instructor, Ms. Staup. She strongly believes in them and expects all her students to respect and practice them in every aspect of their lives. Taekwondo is an ancient and time-honored martial art, and the students of McCall Taekwondo respect and support one another regardless of age or ability. Taekwondo improves one's strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, balance, and focus
