West Hills Fence is the epitome of high-quality professional service, from Lucy in the office always returning phone calls and e-mails promptly, to Nelson and his crew who built a beautiful redwood fence, after removing a vine-encrusted fence that had to be cut out with power saws. Before I knew what type of wood I wanted to use, they delivered samples of three different boards we were considering so we could see and touch them. Nelson and his team were prompt, professional, and highly skilled. They use top quality materials, so it wasn't a discount price; but the workmanship is top-notch and our backyard has been transformed! Westhills Fence put in a redwood fence that borders my property w/my neighbors. They were by far the MOST EXPENSIVE, so my neighbor was sold on them, lol, despite many more reasonable bids. I didn't feel like quibbling about it so we hired Westhills Fence;
It was a slam up job: Upon completion here were many BOARDS NOT NAILED DOWN AT THE BOTTOM, so you could move the board up about one foot... (we paid for screws but they put in nails). Additionally, now after a few months, there is a GAP OF GREATER THAN 1/4 INCH BETWEEN EACH BOARD SO THERE IS NO PRIVACY--clearly they used inferior not

A very professional job! Nelson and his crew rebuilt a gate and a 50 ft long 8 ft high side cedar and redwood fence, all in a day and a half. They were mindful of existing plants and they cleaned up too. If you blinked, you wouldn't have known they were there. They had to delay the start due to wet weather and happily accommodated by postponing a few days further as we had a party planned for the day after the proposed delayed start date. Also they came back promptly and fixed a small miscommunication in the design. Lucy in their office kept us appraised of schedules.

Westhills Fence helped me with a fence in my previous house that had fallen down. They showed up on time, and started the repair right then. Repairs were done right the first time at a cost I thought was reasonable. The same thing happened with this company when I called them for a broken gate in my current house.
