Services
Building a school community takes full participation and commitment teachers, administration and parents. Joyland Preschool can serve children and their families best when a strong culture and positive environment is established and promoted. We strongly encourage all families to understand and support the Family Culture at Joyland.
Our curriculum is based on hands-on experiences that encourage children to think, plan, imagine, and problem solve. By nurturing and challenging children's critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills, we are able to help them grow using a variety of materials, thoughtful conversations and loving interactions.
It's easy to focus on the future when thinking about your child's education, but don't forget about the present. The education they get in their early years is just as important and lays the groundwork for later education. Read on for key goals that are part of a quality preschool or early childhood education program.
We're fully licensed and meet or exceed licensing, fire and health department regulations. Our highly trained Program Directors have infant experience as well as preschool teaching experience, they continually monitor our infant room and are available to assist as needed. Teachers covering lunch breaks are fully trained as infant teachers and communicate well with the infant team.
The months that make up the toddler period are full of wonder and sometimes frustration for parents as our stationary babies grown into exploring, expressive little people. Our toddler program provides an active learning environment which allows hands-on experiences with language development, people, art, and music.

GREAT SCHOOL ! Friendly staff .
My 6 year old was part of the after school program . Miss Valerie and Miss Mari are amazing with the kids Along with all the other Teachers onsite !
I am also writing a review as an employee. I love my job and love my classroom . We have some positive changes and better opportunities for Our staff. We are working in a safe environment and are expected to sanitize and social distance during this pandemic. We are also growing our Academic curriculum . Im excited not only as an employee but also as a parent as I will be enrolling my newborn in the awesome infant

My son started at joyland when he was about a year and a half (now 3 years old). He was shy and didn't interact much with other children. We were nervous he would have a hard time adjusting. He was instantly drawn to Mrs. jessica. She took him under her wing, made him feel comfortable and helped him acclimate. We are so grateful!!! He's made friends, his vocabulary has improved and he even says he "loves" going to school. He was so excited to graduate into a new classroom (room 4). He comes home and tells us all about his fun adventures. He brings home art projects and feels

After all the unprofessional staff that I encountered when my daughter was enrolled in this preschool I can't believe I got to witness this again. Ms. Jenney tells me that they tried accommodating for 8 months but couldn't since they aren't specialist in Special needs. Don't you think that if my daughter was the probpem she wouldn't have been there for 8 months. SHE WAS KICKED OUT BECAUSE HER TEACHERS WANTED HER SITTING DOWN AND NOT MOVING SINCE THEIR CLASSROOM WAS DIVIDED INTO 2 GROUPS. My daughter was adjusting very well before covid. ALL HER TEACHERS TOLD ME WAS THAT

Joyland is under new management. They are plugging the loop holes from demanding parents to entitled staff. The program is getting more educationally driven than just baby sitting. The food menu has become better and there are more professional teachers now. My freind and I have had a good experience at the school. We are glad the management has let go of some staff and some loud families. Convenient and safe for the kids.

First off Jenny E I don't know who you are and have never met you (probably because Joyland is notorious for having a merry go round of teachers and staff go thru the center) therefore for you to comment "we stand by our decision to terminate your child" makes no sense to me since you weren't even involved in the situation. Second I called licensing like I was directed to do by Mr.Sangani and the licensing agent told me it was my right as a parent to walk my children to the classroom so how how was I not following licensing guidelines. If Armando would have told me No parents

My kids have made many friends here and have advanced so much with learning skills! During the summer they have lots of fun activities for the kids. I highly recommend Joyland preschool....

My 4 year old son attends this preschool. He has been attending since he was an infant. It's extremely comforting having a preschool with such a great staff! I drop my son off daily with the reassurance that he is going to be well taken care of. Thanks to Sheila the school Director for providing such a great environment.

We have been with joyland for about a year my daughter is in room 4. She loves it. When I pick her up she's always happy tells me what she learned. And her teacher always greets the children. I'm happy we chose joyland. I can feel good about dropping my daughter off and going to work knowing we're both going to have a good day.

Teachers here are extremely UNPROFESSIONAL, Discriminate kids with special needs. And to top it off the school is extremely dirty. And now with this whole Covid-19 the teacher's wouldn't even check the temperature of the kids nor would wash their hands frequently.
I honestly wouldn't recommend to bring your kids to this school.

I highly recommend this school! The teachers are fantastic! As a new parent, I was looking for a school where class instruction is organized and instruction plan is true to the Montessori teachings and I found all this at Joyland. I greatly appreciate the emphasis the teachers put on family, kindness, and in general the nurturing care they show towards ALL the kids. I have nothing but praise for Joyland. It's definitely a 5 star experience without a doubt!

I wasn't going to leave a review and just leave things as they were, but since I was reading other people's comments and sounded similar to mine I figured I would shed light to some concerns, others might have as parents. My kids were going here maybe a year and I thought everything was perfect there. Until I noticed my son didn't want to go to school, he would cry and tell me he didn't want to be at school. (I thought it was him just being a kid). When I asked why, he said his teacher was telling him if he didn't listen, she was going to call the cops. I was thrown for

For the amount they ask for their out of their mind. If you want to check up on your kid(s) you can only call and take their word for it. The "security" in the front that NEVER locks(works) is just great. And best part if you have someone pick up your kid they ask for ID and check the name on a index card. Hopefully no one makes a fake ID and gets your kid. Also who's idea was it to have the playground be seen from the street.

I want to say thank you to the teachers and Staff at Joyland . You all work collectively on making sure that my son and the other students are kept safe and have a fun environment so that they can learn, be taught and engage, have structure, straighten social skills, compromise, learn how to respect others. Than you for being patient with my baby when he's being a toddler, biting and hitting his friends. Thank you for the calm way you explain we will work together to make my son great.

This Child Care facility was instantly Heart warming for me. Not only did I fall in love with the environment but most importantly the staff and teachers. They are all so kind and caring to all of the Children including their parents and family's. I have personally seen them work hard every day to provide the children a safe, nurturing and educational environment. Before I had enrolled my daughter into Joyland, it was so hard for me to leave her with her previous Day Care Providers. She always looked unhappy and would cry as soon as we would even approach the facility or House. Now that she has

I attended this school when I was little and I thought it would be a great idea to send my two kids for summer school. Everything seemed great in the beginning but the last two days seem to turn sour. My 4-year-old daughter complained she was being isolated. My daughter was ordered to stay in the classroom by herself while the other kids played. The teacher told my daughter it was because her dad brought her in late when in fact he brought her in the same time each day. We confront this issue to the director who brought all the employees in the room. My daughter pointed the individual out and told
